The last day of Kid's Camp is the hardest!
We have had the best campers this summer.
Animal Tales was so much fun!
We wrote a book with their stories, learned how to use the equipment safely, learned about wild friends who came to visit, learned how important it is to take care of your animals, had lots of fun times, made good friends and had fun working hard!
Loves these kiddos!

The weather has broken!!!
Monday, June 30th will be the first day of Animal Tales Kid Camp.
Camp is 9 till noon, Monday through Thursday, for ages 5 to 12.
A place where we work together, learn animal care and responsablity, we are each others biggest cheerleader, and become family!

Just wanted to say a big Thank You to everyone who we had to reschedule or cancel this week.
We have to be mindful of the heat index, shade for the animals and also the trailer while it is parked at an event, how long the animals will be in the trailer traveling and while we are setting up, if there is road work along our way, and so many other factors.
One of the worst parts of our job is disappointing people, but our animals have to be our first priority!
Thank you again for understanding!
Hope to see everyone when the heat index breaks!

The température is roasting, but the Heat Index is greater.
Keep an eye on your outside pets. Water heats up quickly!
We are on a two a day watering schedule to insure our animals have cool water.
If the Heat Index keeps increasing we will move to three a day.
Also if your animals stay inside, it doesn't take long for them to over heat when they go outside!
