Sunset Equine attended their second NASCA - North Alabama Saddle Club Association show of the season on 3/28 hosted by Bar C Saddle Club.

We are so proud of our riders who went out there, gave it their all, and kept going even when things didn’t fall in their favor. Horse shows aren’t just about ribbons—they’re about growth, grit, and learning how to handle the tough moments just as much as the wins.

Every ride, every class, every challenge is part of becoming a stronger, more confident equestrian. And this group showed heart, determination, and sportsmanship all day long. That’s what truly matters. ✨

The setbacks just make the comebacks even better—and we can’t wait to see what they do next. 💪🐎

Sunset Equine attend NASCA - North Alabama Saddle Club Association season opener at Bright Ranch Arena on March 7. And let me tell you my students showed up and showed out! ❤️🥹

Some of my youngest students rocked their costumes for costumes Leadline. We had Rosie and Money as Thing 1 and Thing 2. Fallyn and Dinamita were Sparkle Smash and a monster truck driver. Finley and Red were a dragon and a knight. Rosie and Fallyn also did Leadline barrels and shoutout to their mommas because running that pattern is no joke 😮‍💨

Mr Silas decided he wasn’t playing around with Red and took 3rd and 5th in Pony halter, 4th in youth halter, and 1st under both judges in Pony Walk Trot! ❤️

Our English riding queen Madi got 1st and 3rd in Walk Trot 12 and under and 4th under both judges in English Walk Trot Open! 🩷

Alexis got 2nd and 5th in Youth Halter with Rooster. Ellis and Money got 2nd in Walk Trot 12 and under. 🎉

My adult students Jennifer and Anna worked their tails off to show in ranch classes! Jennifer and her boy Moon got 5th place under both judges in Ranch Showmanship. Anna and Money got 5th place under one judge in Ranch Rail Pleasure. These Ranch classes were PACKED and hard competition! 🤠

My barrel racing girlies were NOT playing around this day! Olivia and Dinamita got 1st place in Youth Barrels and brought home some money! She also got 1st in 12 and under Poles and 2nd in 12 and under arena race. Blakelynn and Money got 2nd in 12 and under barrels and 5th in 12 & under arena race. Anna and Money placed 2nd in Ladies Barrels. 🛢️🤑

To say I am proud is an understatement. I am in awe of my students every single day. I can’t wait for the rest of this season and for Sunset Equine to continue to grow. 🥰❤️
