✨🐴 𝑭𝑹𝑬𝑬 𝑾𝑬𝑩𝑰𝑵𝑨𝑹 𝑨𝑳𝑬𝑹𝑻! 🐴✨

👉 Ever wondered what would happen if horses had the 𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑖𝑐𝑒 to respond with clear communication?

Join me and 𝐽𝑎𝑛𝑒 𝑇𝑎𝑦𝑙𝑜𝑟 of Integrative Horsemanship for an incredible webinar on 𝐴𝑆𝐿 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝐻𝑜𝑟𝑠𝑒𝑠 — where we’ll explore how American Sign Language–inspired hand signals can:
✅ Give your horse more autonomy
✅ Deepen the horse–human bond
✅ Create a whole new level of understanding

💡 Backed by a European study, this method shows horses can actively use visual cues to express themselves. And it works for 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑖𝑐𝑒𝑠, like:
• 🧥 Whether or not they want a blanket
• 🪣 When to wash the water buckets
• 🪮 Which brush they prefer that day

🎉 Exciting Announcement: Free Webinar with Jane Taylor owner If Integrative Horsemanship

🐴 Ever wondered how our equine friends can have a voice of their own? We’re thrilled to welcome Jane Taylor, an innovative practitioner blending American Sign Language (ASL) hand signals with intuitive horsemanship, empowering horses to express their preferences and autonomy.

Informed by groundbreaking European research, her approach aligns with findings such as the study published in Applied Animal Behaviour Science, where horses were trained to use visual symbols to indicate comfort choices—like asking to keep or remove a blanket—demonstrating genuine understanding and autonomous decision-making (sciencenorway.no).

✨ Webinar Available TOMORROW!
📍 Watch via my website: spottedhorsellc.com
💲 Cost: Free—just bring your curiosity and open mind!

Why Attend?
• Discover how ASL-inspired signals can enrich communication and well-being in horse-human relationships 🤝
• Learn practical techniques from Jane that give horses the ability to “speak” for themselves
• Get inspired by a leading-edge blend of cognition, respect, and trust in equine training

Let’s explore how silent signals can turn into meaningful choices—watch your horse speak, and listen differently. See you there! 🐾✨

And the winner is…. 🥁🥁🥁

Lexi Richelman owner of Reining It In!

Both Lexi and I have worked together several times! She’s helped me with groundwork for posture, dynamic exercises, and mindfulness in my lessons with her. I’ve seen big changes in my horse when I work with her! We also have collaborated a few times for online events together. We put together my bit fitting knowledge, with her barrel racing expertise to break down bit mechanics and biomechanics.

I’ve also done reiki for her horse Peppy and Nickel during my training to become a reiki master!

Here’s Lexi’s review:

“Chloe, the heart behind Spotted Horse LLC, is one of the most genuine horse professionals I have ever come to know. As a fellow professional, I love many things she brings to the table that are far different than most. Education is not a shortage for her and she makes connections like second nature.

Chloe does a lot of distance work. I have unfortunately not been blessed with the opportunity to work with her in person, but the virtual services she offers are amazing. I have had communication and reiki performed with my horses in addition to professional collaboration mostly circling in bits and bodywork.

I am passionate about finding the best headgear for horses and Chloe is one I get to relish in that passion with. She has no affiliations to push her one way or another and understands exactly how bits and bridles affect horses both positively and negatively. Her bit fittings are in depth and necessary.

Chloe is easy to get along with and puts our horses on the front burner, as she is one who truly understands them and can help serve and heal them in a unique way.”

‼️Heres a review from a client:‼️

"Chloe is fantastic. She goes above and beyond for my horse and is constantly striving to further her education for the health of my mare. My mare is a headshaker. She is a great personality and I learn a ton every time she is out. Our sessions are fantastic I feel very informed with each visit My horse lights up when she sees Chloe and thoroughly enjoys her bodywork sessions. Both my horse and myself are certainly benefiting from Chloe and her education. We could not be happier."

🔥 Hot Take: This is exactly why online learning is so hard for horse owners. 🔥 and THIS is why I also make science backed educational material…

This chart claims to rank bits “by severity” — but let’s break down a few major issues:

❌ The Pelham is upside down.
❌ The Baucher description is flat-out wrong — it does not apply poll pressure.
❌ The Elevator is a gag bit. That’s the whole point…it’s not “similar to a gag” it is one — sliding leverage.
❌ Happy Mouth bits? Usually far too thick and can interfere with acceptance, not encourage it.
❌ Waterford? Not soft — it’s pinchy, which is why horses avoid pulling into it.

And let’s be clear:
👉 It’s about the mechanics of the bit
As you may heard me say: A bit can only be as soft as It’mechanics allow ….regardless of the riders softness.

When most online resources sugarcoat or oversimplify bit mechanics, no one learns — and horses end up paying the price.

📣 That’s why I offer virtual bit fitting that cuts through the fluff. I help you understand what’s actually happening in your horse’s mouth — not what a Pinterest graphic wants you to believe.

🧠 What if I told you this change happened in just one month — with very little riding and a focus on thoughtful groundwork and liberty work?

See the July → August transformation of this sweet horse. Not just the weight gain — but look closer at the posture.

➡️ A lifted back
➡️ A softer, more filled-in top line
➡️ Stronger shoulders and hindquarters
➡️ Less tension, more balance

This isn’t just a physical glow-up — it’s a nervous system shift.

And here’s the kicker:
👉 He’s only been seen and “worked” once (maybe twice) a week.‼️

So what made the difference?

✨ Saddle Fit That Actually Fits — If it didn’t fit, I didn’t use one. Period.
✨ Groundwork & Liberty Work — Done right, it builds strength, confidence, and connection.
✨ Consistent Monthly Bodywork — Supporting fascia, circulation, and alignment (by yours truly).
✨ Proper Bit & Bridle Fit — Comfort equals better communication. (Also by me!)
✨ 24/7 Turnout — Letting him move and be a horse around the clock.
✨ Good Nutrition — The right fuel for healing and rebuilding.
✨ Emotional Well-being — His happiness wasn’t an afterthought. It was a priority.

A horse’s posture tells a story. When they’re in pain, stressed, or poorly conditioned, they brace, hollow, and compensate. When they feel better — mentally and physically — the body naturally reorganizes itself. No force needed.

Healing doesn’t always happen in the saddle. Sometimes it starts with simply listening and helping them bring awareness to their body.

🌿🐴 What actually happens during an Equine Reiki session?
It’s a question I hear all the time—from curious horse owners who just want the best for their four-legged partners.

The truth is, Reiki isn’t magic… but it can feel magical when you see a tense, anxious horse start to yawn, soften, or even fall asleep during a session. ✨

Whether your horse is healing from an injury, holding onto emotional tension, or just needs a reset, Equine Reiki offers a calm, respectful way to support their mind and body—on their terms, no pressure.

👉 In my new blog post, I walk you through what to expect—from how a session starts, to the subtle signs your horse may show when they’re processing energy.
It's a great read if you're new to energy work or just want to learn more about how it fits into holistic horse care.
