This week’s Doctor spotlight: Dr Rachel Riley!

Dr. Riley is a 2019 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and joined the team in 2022. She is married to her husband Jordan, and they have one dog named Bo. Dr. Riley enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, traveling and watching Netflix. Dr. Riley was an IVMA Power of 10 Participant in 2022-2023.

Dr. Riley's special interests include small animal medicine and diagnostic ultrasound.
You can find Dr. Riley at our Waynedale, Bluffton, and Decatur locations on different days of the week.

This week’s Doctor spotlight: Dr Acacia Suhrer

Dr. Acacia Suhrer is a 2018 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is married to her husband Jim, and they have a son named Atlas and daughter Gwendolyn. Dr. Suhrer enjoys being outside, gardening, traveling, and spending time with family. In her last year at Purdue, Dr. Suhrer received the Proficiency Award in Large Animal Medicine.

Dr. Suhrer’s special interests include small ruminant medicine and reproduction, emergency care, and large/small animal surgery.
You can find Dr Suhrer at our Decatur, Bluffton and Waynedale locations on different days of the week.

This week’s Doctor spotlight: Dr. Steve Bales!

Dr. Bales is a 1991 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. He is married to his wife Jodie. They have three children, Brent, his wife Haley and son Asher, Kristen, her husband Evan and sons Brooks and Baker, and Lauren. Dr. Bales enjoys spending time with family, traveling with friends, and attending livestock shows and sporting events. He has been a member of the Wells County Health Board for over 25 years!
Dr. Bales’ special interests include swine production and business management. He particularly enjoys mentoring new veterinarians to develop their special interests.
You can find Dr Bales at our Decatur, Waynedale, and Bluffton locations on different days of the week.
