Our final Doctor Spotlight: Dr. Meredith Werling

Dr. Werling is a 2024 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has a cat named TK, short for Toby Keith. Dr. Werling enjoys rooting for Notre Dame football, the Indianapolis Colts, and Big Ten basketball. She also enjoys concerts, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr. Werling's special interests include surgery and she is excited to come home and work where she was raised in Decatur, Indiana.
You can find Dr. Werling at our Bluffton, Decatur, and Waynedale locations on different days of the week.

Next Doctor Spotlight: Dr. Brent Bales

Dr. Bales is a 2021 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bales is married to his wife Haley, and they have a son named Asher. Brent and Haley also have two cats, Marlo and Maui, as well as two dogs, Mayze and Monty. Dr. Bales enjoys spending time with his friends and family, doing outdoor activities, and being a major sports enthusiast!

Dr. Bales’ special interest is small animal surgery, including soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. You can find Dr. Bales at our Bluffton, Waynedale, and Decatur locations on different days of the week.

This week’s Doctor spotlight: Dr. Tony Lahr

Dr. Lahr is a 2003 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. He is married to his wife Nicole and they have three children, two daughters, Katelyn and Ella, and a son, Drew. Dr. Lahr also has two dogs named Sparky and Jack. He enjoys sports, outdoor activities, gardening, as well as raising and exhibiting poultry.

Dr. Lahr's special interests include large animal reproductive ultrasound, as well as mixed animal medicine and surgery.
