Sweet little old lady. Cant hear very well apparently. She had no idea where the kissing sounds were coming from. She did however know right where the door was - bc she was waiting for her parents to pick her up.
Senior dogs really do need private grooming. Why? Because they can’t see very well. Can’t hear. Grooming can become scary to them even when they’ve done it their entire life.
They have arthritis…. Health issues. Heart liver kidney problems…

Private grooming means so crates, less stress and a shorter amount of time for the grooming process.

Side note! Keep your senior dogs SHORT that way they don’t have to endure being groomed as often.
Amber was trimmed short because her owners says she gets HOT
well, thankfully Amber was soooo comfortable at the White Raven Private Pet Services salon. It was nice and cool in the shop today! Perfect for a hot natured dog and her perimenopausal groomer. 😉

This is Poppy with her serious face- coming through to make an announcement. 👀

To accommodate clients - White Raven Private Pet Services is going on 14 days straight before Alison, the owner, the only groomer, the receptionist, secretary, social media manager, cleaning lady, ( everything) and mom gets just ONE full day off.

She tends to put everyone else first. Raised that way. But woohoo. That can be a doozie.

This business is run all alone. Just by herself with a little phone and cleaning help from a couple friends here and there. Thank goodness for that help!

That being said. Feel free to bring Alison an iced Starbucks drink ( sugar free no dairy) at any of your appointments. 🙏

She’s hanging in there but can feel it’s by a thread 🧵 these days. 💪

☀️ 🏖️ Summertime is here and as of June 1 the already limited Saturday availability is even more limited due to kiddo classes.

🥰 There may be some slight changes to appointments.
Clients who have Saturday appointments will be called in advance if changes need to be made.

Limited Saturday availability and definitely no Saturday time slots before 1pm through the summer.

Hours of the salon are by appointment only.

There are no set hours.

When calling to request an appointment
Choose Tuesday- Friday those are the typical days White Raven Private Pet Services groomer has availability.

Sunday appointments are never available. This is the day reserved to spend time with and honor our family.

You can, however, request to have the owner groom your dog “after hours” or on “closed days” for an “urgent situation”

These appointments will include an after hours fee and the price is determined by the salon owner.

These type of appointments are not regularly offered and are accepted on a case by case basis by the owner.
