Status: Fair Week Commencing
Location: Surveillance Post Alpha (top of a hay bale)

This is Riott, reporting from my usual high ground—where I’ve got a perfect view of the farm and all the chaos below. Fair week is officially here, and while I won’t be showing, I will be supervising.

Mom’s running around with chickens, Bean is already yelling about who touched her feed scoop, and I’m just trying to keep everyone in line from my perch. I don’t care that hay isn’t in the fair — it still makes a solid lookout tower.

Stay tuned. It’s about to get loud, dusty, and mildly dramatic. Just the way I like it.

Pond Edition: Wet, Wild, and Slightly Muddy

Today I bravely dove into the mysterious backyard pond (okay, more of a dramatic wade, but let’s not get technical). Bean barked like I was being swallowed whole—dramatic much?

I splashed. I zoomed. I may have chased a frog (he escaped… for now). By the time I got out, I was soaked, proud, and absolutely NOT sorry for tracking mud onto the porch.

Highlights include:
💦 Olympic-level splashing
🐸 Frog surveillance (pending follow-up)
🛁 A very unnecessary bath afterward

Would I do it again? 100%.
