Sweet Ava came in for a little pampering. She is the sweetest little girl. She is such a happy little girl and so full of energy. Hard to believe she is 15 years old. She enjoys her bath, but is not so fond of the dryer; she just snuggles deeper into my lap. She acts like a perfect lady for grooming, and likes the little breaks so she can get a little treat or just a little snuggling. Grooming is all done! This little lady is styling a fresh haircut, feeling snuggly soft, smelling fresh, and she is ready to strut her stuff!!! Have an amazing day, Ava!!

One of my amazing clients lost her beloved Riley this weekend. Riley was a sweet soul who has left our world and gained her wings. Rest in peace, sweet Riley, and watch over your mom; she misses you dearly!! Riley was so dearly loved.

How beautiful heaven must be, filled with animal spirits and souls, you see.
No truer friend, no truer heart, no wonder it hurts so to be apart.
Our angels in fur are just on loan, and heaven has spoken and called them home.
But in our hearts they will always be, for the love that you share shall never leave.

Sweet little Tia came in for a little pampering. She is an older girl about 15 years young. So she needed a little extra care and careful handling. She is like many older fur kiddos and has many medical issues. This sweet girl came in for a nice medicated bath and just a little trim of her feet, face, and f***y. She seemed to enjoy her medicated bath because she got a little massage while waiting to be rinsed. She did so well, especially since this is her first groom with me. She seemed to be so relaxed and just a happy little girl. She is all freshened up and has her little bows. She is ready to strut her stuff and show everyone the princess she is. Sweet Gryff came in today for a little pampering. He is the sweetest and most well-trained guy. His pet dad even showed me he can do an army crawl on command. He is always so well-behaved and has the most beautiful coat. He lives a very active life with his pet parents and loves to go camping and swimming. I got him all freshened and trimmed up. He is ready to go camping and on his adventures with his family. I think he is also ready for s'mores. Have one for me, Gryff. Have an amazing day, Gryff!!!!

Sweet little Shane came in for his little pampering session. He gets his regular bath, deshedding, massage, and pawdicure. He is the sweetest little guy. I have been grooming him for a while. He knows where all the toy boxes are in the house. He will search to find his favorite, a pink possum, and carry it with him. He even takes it to the grooming table with him. He is so much fun and so happy. He wears a Superman collar, but I did not have any Superman bandanas, so today he was "Bat Shane", Batman's secret sidekick. Timid little Quinn came in for a little pampering. Quinn is a very timid and somewhat scared little girl. This was Quinn's first groom with me, so she had lots of new things around her and needed extra reassurance to help her learn that this is a safe environment for her. Quinn has been professionally groomed all her life, and her pet mom does an excellent job grooming her at home. She is just a timid little girl. So, I pulled out all my little tricks to make her feel as comfortable, safe, and secure as I could. She was excellent for grooming and enjoyed getting little treats as we progressed through grooming. Giving little breaks and small treats can help a fur kiddo build trust and establish that this is a safe and loving environment. When we were all done, she showed me that she was starting to trust me; she came up to me and let me put a little bandana on her. She is still a little leary, but we will work on that. Grooming is all done, and the beautiful blue-eyed girl is ready to strut her stuff and give her pet mom lots of snuggles. Welcome to the Pawbulous Pups family, and have a wonderful day, sweet Quinn!

Little Maddie Rose came in for a little pampering and a completely new haircut. Maddie is a little poodle and has never had a true poodle trim. So this was a completely new experience for her. This was also her first groom with me. So lots of new experiences and sensations. She was a little timid and scared at first. I sat on the floor, dried her with her in my lap, and put doggie ear muffs on to help her with the sound. With smaller dogs and especially if they are scared or timid, doing this helps them feel safe and secure. I can use one hand to hold the dryer and the other hand to pet or fluff her hair. We took a little break after drying, and she got the zoomies and wanted to play because she was relaxed. She did very well for brushing. When it was time to shave her face and feet, she was not impressed, so we would do a little and break, and she would get praise for being good and a little high-value training treat. She did so well, and by the time we were all done, I made a new friend. She even got up in my lap so I could paint her toenails and put in her bows. Now she is all fresh and fluffy and looks like a poodle. She is ready to show off her new style with her little bows and painted nails. Gentle little Zsu Zsu came in for a little pampering. She is the sweetest little girl and somewhat timid. It takes her a little bit to warm up, but that is okay. She was a breeder rescue that her mom adopted. She has been through a lot in her life, so it is okay that she needs to feel comfortable. She usually just snuggles up in my lap to be dried. She usually relaxes during this time because I always make sure I give her lots of special attention. So by the time we move to the grooming table, she is relaxed and usually will lie down so I can brush her. She is a very loving girl who just needs a little reassurance at times. She is all fresh and has her little haircut. She is ready now for lots of loving snuggles! Have an amazing day, sweet Zsu Zsu!!!

Sweet Timber came in for a little pampering. The weather is hot, and shedding season is among us. Timber is such a sweet and gentle-natured girl. She was such a good girl for her major deshed. I blew out her coat to release those loose hairs; she had a nice bath with moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, then had her coat blown out again to dry her. She did so well with the dryer noise and looked so cute in the pink ear muffs. A good deshedding is a labor-intensive process. After she was nice and dry, I line-brushed her whole body. She just lay there enjoying every moment of it, and would occasionally signal for a tummy rub. She was a perfect angel. We may have had a blizzard of hair, but now she is softer than ever and will be much cooler with airflow through her coat. Have a wonderful day, Timber!

Happy little Casey came in for a little pampering. He is such a happy little guy and always has lots of smiles. I have been grooming him for a while. Since he was a puppy, he would always go to the toy box and pick out a certain stuffed toy and carry it around, and even wanted it to sit on the grooming table with him. So I started to keep that toy separate. (So it would always be ready for him) Casey does so well for grooming due to the dedication of his pet parents to help him adjust to the noises and touches. He still is not fond of getting his face dried, but what dog is? The key is lots of ear and chin rubs while he is drying, with lots of praise for being a good boy. It has been a privilege to be able to watch him grow up to the handsome boy he is. Grooming is all done; he is smelling good, soft and snuggly, and oh so handsome! Have an amazing day, Casey! ( P.S. I put Spot up for you, so he is ready for the next time you visit!)
