Pablo had a great weekend at his debut at CWA. He earned 3 ARX points on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. He also was awarded 1st in Sunday’s show, earning 3 points to the show title part of CWA. We are very proud of him! Cato ran all 4 heats Saturday and was the turtle 🐢 Rum ran in Dash Dogs, alone on Saturday and with her new friend Addie on Sunday. She’s gaining confidence and box experience.

We are not coursing this year and are racing either CWA or WRA/NOTRA. All the dogs can run and you don’t run into the same judges every weekend like you do for coursing.

Edited: So proud of all of these dogs! Rum won her 3rd race and really pushed during her 4th and did some moving within the pack. I think after some more practice she has a chance at doing well at racing. Her bad coursing experience really has changed her 🫤

Huxley ran straight and true, no cutting to the right like he does at practice. No meet points but he held is own the first 75% of the track.

And…. Cato my old man Dual Champion won the turtle! I am so proud of him for being able to complete the meet. He was hard to box and probably one of the loudest dogs there 😂

Rum is getting into it! Each race she’s pushing it more. The boys are having fun too and Cato loves being a dick at the end lol

Enjoying 88° today. Well maybe not enjoying but it beats the cold. I just sprayed the yard with Wondercide, because as you can see, we are right on the edge of the woods. Ticks are bad this year, even back home in SD where we rarely saw any last year.
