Blue River Lab Kennels

Blue River Lab Kennels Located in southern MN, Blue River Lab Kennels has a long history of raising labs. I (David Lein) started raising labs with my dad.

Blue River Lab Kennels was founded about 30 years ago by my father, Loren Lein. Annie was the start of Blue River Lab Kennels and Abby was the last of my grandfather's litters, with many great Lab's in the years between. Abby is a great all around the house dog, with plenty energy, she is very calm when she needs to be and is an extremely good field dog for hunting and is very responsive. We have

since lost my grandfather, Loren Lein, in June of 2012 of Congestive Heart Failure. My grandfather will always be remembered for his unconditional love for dogs, hunting, and the environment. Abby had her last litter in spring 2017, and now Oakley will be having her first litter in 2019 and her second litter the spring of 2021. Lucy (my daughters lab) had puppies Spring of 2020, and will be breed again in 2022.
