Back in the 1950‘s in a smoke-filled bar in Carmel, California, Constance Depler already renowned for pet portraiture, was enjoying drinks with the famous artist Mark Rothko. She began sketching people as various dog breeds based on their personalities. From this, her path was set. Her artwork, highly collectible, adorns the walls of various celebrities, political figures, and professional athletes.
