PRIVATE HORSE BOARDING
Twisted Y is a fully-equipped facility for the intermediate-to-advance horseman, who desires the pride and ownership that comes with caring for their equine partner. Conveniently located minutes outside of Bloomington, IL Twisted Y holds all the necessities for recreational and competitive riding. The self-board program allows each individual the opportunity to design their
horse's feed, turnout, stall care, and schedule at an affordable rate and within a knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive environment. A maintenance grain and bedding is available to purchase on site for convenience. Twisted Y features a large, pull through drive with semi-wide entrances; large, matted stalls with individual lighting and electrical; group turnouts with shelters; a grass field for grazing; a large, attached indoor arena; humidity controlled tack room with abundant storage; matted cross-ties in each aisle; heated/cooled matted wash bay; attached feed room with individual storage for feed/supplements; a boarder's lounge with downstairs sink and space for feed soaking, an upstairs recreational space with a locker room, full bath, fridge, table and plenty of seating, plus a viewing window to the arena in both the upstairs and downstairs of the boarder's lounge; lastly, there is a full barn speaker system, perfect for desensitizing, small shows, and listening to music while in the facility. Safety features include a security sensor in the locked tack room and fire/smoke detectors in both the stall barn and the boarder's lounge - all security devices are attached to a home security system; recording cameras throughout the barn and property entrances; outlet plugs for all outlets in and outside of the facility; and the entire proper is surrounded with panels, including gated driveways to ensure safety of the livestock on the property. BEEF PRODUCTION
Each year, Twisted Y sells a limited number of beef cows to the local community for freezer beef. Each season starts with a selection of excellent stock top-notch Illinois breeding programs. Processing occurs in December and packages are available in whole, halves or quarters. CONTACT US
