I finally came up for air.

I've been hiding in the craft room building new product lines, redesigning our website, and trying to convince myself that SEO, hashtags, and alt text are actually a thing... and that I need to embrace them.

In the meantime, I've managed to accomplish a few things...

Fair warning... It's going to be hotter than my UPS driver delivering craft supplies. 🥵📦

But don't let that stop you! We'll be the booth surrounded by handcrafted décor, laughing, sweating, handing out free sarcasm, and wondering whose bright idea it was to attend an outdoor craft festival in the middle of July. 😂

You know when I'm quiet... I'm usually working on BIG things behind the scenes!

If you've been following along while I've been building this dream, thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

When the Painted Tree closed, I knew I had to pivot. Instead of giving up, I decided it was time to take Whiskers & Wags in a new direction.

Over the past several months, I've been designing, painting, laser engraving, photographing, writing descriptions, learning SEO, and figuring out everything that goes into successfully selling on Etsy. It has definitely been a learning experience!

Today, our Etsy shop is filled with handcrafted door hangers, home décor, funny signs, seasonal décor, inspirational pieces, and personalized gifts—all handmade with love.

Here's something I haven't really shared...

I actually quietly launched on Etsy about a month ago. I wanted to see how my products would perform with shoppers who had never heard of Whiskers & Wags before. It was important to me that those first sales, favorites, and reviews came organically—not just from family and friends cheering me on.

I'm excited to say that our first month exceeded my expectations!
