Let's Talk About Heat Conditioning:

This weather feels amazing to us, but for our dogs, it’s a transition period we CANT ignore.

Even mild temperature increases can hit them hard after months of cooler weather. Walks, training, playing, yard time, outings… it all adds up. Without proper conditioning, those “nice days” outside can lead to overheating faster than you’d expect.

Heat conditioning helps your dog gradually adjust to warmer temps, reducing the risk of stress on their bodies and heatstroke.

How to start Heat Conditioning:
Start with short, low-intensity time outside in mild warmth, and gradually increase duration over several days to weeks. Prioritize cooler parts of the day at first, and slowly introduce warmer conditions as your dog adjusts.

Build them up slowly so they can safely handle & enjoy the summer weather. 🐾🤍
