Meet two dogs who have already survived more pain than any animal ever should.
Esther (tri color): At 14 years old, this sweet senior should be spending her days safe, warm and loved - not fighting to survive. Esther was removed from a neglectful situation in heartbreaking condition. Frail, exhausted, she had already endured years without proper care. Then, tragedy struck again when Esther was hit by a car. Despite everything, this precious senior is still fighting and in the comforting loving arms of My Loveable Angels. Esther is completely toothless, heartworm positive, and now requires thyroid medication to help stabilize her health. Recovery has been slow, and her medical needs continue to grow, but giving up on Esther is not an option.
Jethro (black): This sweet boy has already suffered so much. He arrived terrified, withdrawn and recovering from an embedded collar which had cut deeply into his neck--a heartbreaking reminder of how long he had gone without proper care or compassion. Understandably, he is scared. Every new sound and touch is unfamiliar, and learning to trust again will take time; but even through the fear and pain, Jethro still has hope in his eyes. Medical exams also revealed that he is heartworm positive, meaning he will now face months of treatment, medications, and careful recovery. Despite everything Jethro has endured, he deserved a chance to heal- not just physically, but emotionally, too.
What makes this even more heartbreaking is how gentle and loving Esther and Jethro still are. Even after neglect, pain, and fear; these souls still seek comfort, still want affection, and still deserve to know what it feels like to be truly cared for.
We are asking for help to give these precious dogs the peace, comfort and medical care they need. Every donation goes directly towards treatment, medications, recovery care, and helping them finally experience the love they were denied for so long.
Together we can make sure their years are filled with kindness, dignity and love instead of suffering.
