Dear Cozy Canines family,
After much thought and prayer, I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from dog sitting starting in 2026.
For the past three wonderful years, I’ve had the joy of caring for so many sweet pups and getting to know each of you and your furry friends. Your trust in me has meant the world, and I’ll forever be grateful for the tail wags, early morning cuddles, and puppy kisses.
That said, I’ve come to recognize that I need to prioritize my mental health and personal well-being in this next season of life. Caring for others (two- and four-legged!) has always been a passion of mine—but it’s time for me to pause, rest, and focus on where God is leading me next.
This isn’t goodbye forever—just a needed break. I will continue accepting bookings through the end of 2025, so if you’d like to schedule a stay or visit before the year ends, I’d love to see your pup! At the moment, I will not be taking any new appointments for 2026 and beyond.
I’ll be sure to keep my current clients posted if anything changes. I may return to dog sitting in the future—after all, I’ve invested so much time into this little business, and I’ve built so many meaningful friendships along the way. Each of you are important to me, and I’m so grateful for the trust and kindness you’ve shown.
The truth is, I’ve always struggled to put my own personal needs first. And right now, dog sitting isn’t serving me the way it used to. It’s time for me to step back and honor that.
Thank you all for the support, love, and encouragement you’ve shown Cozy Canines over the years. You and your pups have truly made this journey unforgettable.
With love and gratitude,
Sam 🐾
