179 was our sweet princess Maureen. You could often find her at the front of the lounge unless she heard treats then she’d be right at your feet. Today she went home with a previous adopter & is sure to be well loved.

180 & 181 is Amy & Anteater. They came in to the lounge very timid. Amy got comfortable fairly quickly & her brother was more reserved but he loved his sister & relies on her for comfort. Today they were chosen TOGETHER & will be going to their new home first thing tomorrow.

And last but not least was 182 Miss Slim Sandy! This girl was full of personality. She loved pets, treats, playing, watching the birds on YouTube tv or just lounging on the couch.

We advise booking reservations for tomorrow as we have lowered our numbers until we can see if the shelter has any cats available to come to our lounge.

Peach is our cat of the month! She loves cats and would be good in a home with others (especially playful cats). We’ve had her for quite a while and have learned so much about her. She is truly an amazing girl that deserves the best home and we’re determined to find that for her!

Someone seriously needs to come adopt these 2 boys together. They have 100% bonded in the lounge & are BEST FRIENDS but not listed as bonded through the shelter. They are so fun, friendly & outgoing, also very playful but when they wear each other out they are adorable sleeping cats. I caught them snuggled in the window seat together yesterday. They’d be purrfect for a family with young kids too. If this sounds like a pair you’d be interested in the Best Friends adoption event is going on now through August 10th and fees are waived. We are open til 4pm today. Come meet Roger & Sanderson they are sure to steal your hearts like they have ours.

A huge thank you to a previous adoptee for bringing in crocheted blankets for the cats yesterday. They loved them & we send one home with each cat adopted here so they have a familiar smell in their new home & if needed, to help other animals in the home adjust to them.

Open 11-4pm today. The room is completely booked 4-5pm so no walk ins will be permitted during that hour. Please plan accordingly & make a reservation to guarantee a spot.

Today we adopted out:

Orville 😽 We only had him for a few days and it’s no surprise he was snatched up quickly. He is a sweet handsome boy. He’ll have lots of kids to play with him in his new home!

Patches 😸 Patches can be a sassy gal but she’s very beautiful and likes to be a lap cat occasionally. She went to a home with no other cats which will be good for her because she loves to be the center of attention!
