As you all know I've been interested and/or working in the local food network for the better part of the last 15 years. Going foward I will be featuring local farms and producers i believe in on this page.

I've helped out at The Table Farm and Workshop severally times now and I can say I have been blown away to really see how a small regenerative farm functions. Kyan has a deep depth of knowledge but at the same time isn't at all afraid to think through things differently with thoughtfulness and mindfulness to the land.

The rotation of pigs, chickens and veggies through the landscape brings to mind old diagrams (mother eath news) from the early days of the food revolution. Farms like these set themselves up for resiliency by creating their own inputs instead of depending on foreign fertilizers. They also become an environmental plus instead of an environmental problem. Now more than ever these small farms need you to keep your money local so they can keep doing things the right way.

Going out of business Sale! We have some Tshirts and Drink Mixers leftover, we have S-Xl left and all the mixers flavors pictured.

Useful Yard was an incredible journey and all though I'm sad it's over, I'm very excited about going back to my previous occupation and going back to homesteading (aka creating) . I have so many more ideas of how to utilize and create with my crops now. But I feel the part of this that was the coolest was growing a community of people!

Thank you so much BloNo! You purchased so many natives, trusted me on so much advice, tried out new herbs and berries and so much more. Keep growing!

I'm very interested in starting a local food sharing cooperative with like minded individuals. If you got this far, you might be a good fit!

2025 was a difficult year, we got hit with a huge tarrif on the organic sugar we use, combined with much lower sales due to everyones economic struggles. Just remember we all need to make sacrifices so the billionaires and millionaires can keep accumulating more wealth including the president and his family. God Bless America
