In this video homie and I are at Lowe’s. I’m introducing him to the blue carts that Lowe’s has by first marking and rewarding him for looking, sniffing, or even getting close to it. Once I see he understands what it is we are doing I then go about adding the “place” command. This training is not only working on obedience but also building confidence and trust between me and my client. He knows I won’t ask him to do anything to harm him. Which is why he is always so eager to learn and follow my lead.

Took homie to Lowe’s to get some socialization work in. Lowe’s is one of my favorite training spots outside of the facility. There is always so much going on but not too much where it’s over crowded or overwhelming. But this is a quick clip of how car rides go. If the dog is in the truck space of my vehicle I like to keep them in a down stay. There is no reason for them to be up back there. It’s a visibility issue for me personally and also there is no windows for him to be able to stick his head out. So in this video you see me call for “Eyes” from homie, which is our focus word he pops right up. Then goes right back into the down position. This is only a 9 month puppy. I want to point out the quick response and great obedience. We have a couple more weeks left with this fella. His owners originally put him through basic obedience with me. Loved what they were seeing and moved forward to go through advance. Super proud of this dude. More clips upcoming.

Congratulations to Winnie for completing her 4 Week Puppy Board & Train package! Like every puppy training, our main focus was building Winnie’s confidence. A confident puppy is a GREAT puppy. Got her on a regulated potty schedule of 4-6 hours at just 13 weeks old. The time will increase as she gets older and can get more control over her bladder and stomach. We also worked on Instilling basic obedience w/ impulse control. Winnie was such a joy to have here at StructuredUp she loved Scorpion and was great friends with Ghost! They actually started on the same day. So it’s a bittersweet feeling to have them both graduating this weekend.

But I’m so thankful to have been working with Winnie. Such a sweetheart!

Congratulations to Ghost for Completing his 4 Week Puppy Board & Train package… During this process our main focus was on building confidence ! A confident puppy is the best puppy. Also instilling basic obedience cues and impulse control. Ghost has grown so much over the last few weeks and I’m super thankful for him. Look forward to having him back in the future for his future endeavors 😉

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Super thankful for every last one of you who has been apart and impacted this business in some way shape or form! Just here getting some slight work with Scorpi.
