Its tolerant and gentle traits make it an excellent pet for a family with children. Bulldogs need moderate exercise and a favorite pastime is napping by their owners' feet. Yet, despite contrary beliefs, the Bulldog is an energetic animal that will love to play around the yard between naps. Its smooth, short coat allows for minimal grooming.
