Ridgetop Farms Beef Cattle, 4-H Rabbits, Eggs Herefords & Salers: no antibiotics or steroids, pasture raised. Rabbits meet 4-H requirements and have placed well in the past.

Sold as inspected freezer beef, 1/4, 1/2 or whole steers.

4-H Rabbits: Mini-Rex, Lionhead, Lop-Eared - not registerd but well kept records. Rabbits are exercised and rotated daily between cages and grass pens. Chickens & Ducks are free range and happy! Eggs!! $2.00/dozen

Today we some pregnancy testing. Since Eli had speech Ellie got stuck with the work. We did preg checks a little different and used blood tests. Ellie got that stuff ready for me while I caught them and drew the blood. Then when we got home she did a few plates.

Well the wind took some trees down and of course the calves found the hole so I got my steps in on Saturday catching them, catching was easy, finding was hard. One big thing to ve thankful for, my soon to be 84 year old father insisted on cutting the trees by the gully. For his age he is very good shape. There's a lesson in there about staying active. He had two excuses, first he didn't trust the young whipper snapper with his new saw, second an army captain once told him that he and his driver, they were scouts, were the most expendable men in the unit. Everyone is home now, hopefully they behave.
