She has been us 43 days today! Kennel life is no life for a dog!
She knows her routine so well, we don’t even have to leash her when we take her out for play time. She runs out of her kennel run into the back X pen with no issues..
She is NOT fond of female dogs and prefers male dogs but she is picky who she wants in her life.
She is now on her fourth playmate because the other others have already been adopted.
She is very friendly. Very affectionate. Food motivated. Eager please. Great on leash and what she shown to us so far, she could definitely be a great off leash dog.
She loves kids but we have no idea about cats!
Her back story: she was dumped in a cemetery in Hartford and it took me a week to catch her.
A week to build her trust.
A week to show I was a kind hand, and not the horrible human that dumped her there..
When we first got her, she was terrified of everything. She wouldn’t even walk on a leash. I had to carry her in and out of the kennel.
If anybody came to visit, she was terrified, but now she welcomes the visit with a waging tail, jumps of joy, and lots of kisses.
She made all of these strides in a very stressful kennel environment, so you can just imagine what she will blossom into in a stable home!
I am not going to fail her! I know her family is out there!
