Meet Piglet! 🐷💖

As Winnie-the-Pooh once would have said between hunny breaks, “Sometimes the very smallest things take up the very biggest space in your heart” — and little miss Piglet is here to prove it!
At almost a year old, she’s still tiny enough to make even Piglet look big and brave. Don’t let her kitten-sized fluff fool you though — this girl has the sass of Tigger after three cups of coffee and the zoomies to match. She loves to play games, bounce around, and keep life interesting in true Hundred Acre Wood fashion.
Born to one of our feral mamas, Piglet took a little while to come out of her shell (much like Eeyore leaving the house on a Monday morning). But now she’s blossomed into a playful, energetic sweetheart who’s ready to find her very own cozy corner of the Hundred Acre Wood — preferably with a loving human and maybe a snack or two.
Piglet would do best in a home without small children. She may be okay with other cats, while dogs are still a bit of a mystery. 🐾

After being overbred and ultimately abandoned, she’s now on the road to a brighter future thanks to the care of dedicated rescuers who helped her heal and rediscover happiness. This sweet “pocket pittie” is as loyal as they come. Princess thrives on companionship and is happiest right by your side, whether you’re heading for some fresh air or settling in for a cozy night on the couch. Wherever you are, that’s exactly where she wants to be.

Meet Lyka! She wakes up every day and chooses chaos—the fun, husky-flavored kind. Goofy, energetic, and always ready for her next adventure, Lyka firmly believes that “outside” is a personality trait, not just a location. Couch potato? Never heard of her. If something is happening, she must investigate immediately… preferably at full speed.

At around 2 years old and 40 pounds, Lyka is your classic husky: smart, curious, and powered by equal parts zoomies and mischief. She’s got a high prey drive, so small animals are a no-go in her world. As for other dogs, she’s still forming opinions—very thoughtful of her.

🚨 Urgent! We are looking for a medical foster or foster to adopt home for these gorgeous boys, Mango and Marty! Mango recently presented with concerning weight loss and extreme thirst. After bringing him to our vet for testing, he has been diagnosed with diabetes. He will need to start transitioning to a diabetic lifestyle. Shelter life is already stressful for them and this will only add to that. We are urgently looking for a home for them with medical experience, specifically with managing diabetes, so Mango can be as little stressed as possible while navigating this life change. Our shelter will provide all food, medication, and needed supplies! Marty and Mango are a bonded pair and have to go together. They are shy at first, but really sweet, affectionate boys! They need a quiet, comfortable home that will make them feel safe and loved. Please consider giving these cuties a chance!

Meet Jenga! Mom of our Gamer Litter!

Life with Jenga is full of fun! She has a playful spirit that will keep you smiling, but she also has a gentle way of letting you know when it’s time to slow down and relax. Her story began on the streets of Waterbury, where she showed incredible strength and resilience. Just one week after being rescued, she welcomed her babies into the world and proved to be a devoted, loving mom every step of the way. She had 8 kittens and took wonderful care of them all, even though she was very young, practically just a baby herself. Now that her kittens are moving on with their own journeys, it’s Jenga’s turn to find the happy ending she deserves. She’s ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish her, play with her, and give her the safe, loving home she’s been waiting for.
