Stormie Steps Pet Services LLC focuses on enriching your pet's life one step at a time through exercise, engagement & stimulation by offering dog walking, pet sitting, dog training & pet reiki services by me, Gagi. Stormie Steps is in honor and dedication to my first dog, a pit bull named Storm, who passed away in May 2020 at the age of 15. We focus on enriching your pet’s life one step at a time

through exercise, engagement and stimulation by offering dog walking, pet sitting, dog training and reiki services by me, Gagi. I have extensive experience walking rescue and shelter dogs on pack walks and being their handler at busy adoption events.

My fur-family currently consists of three rescue dogs who love hiking, swimming and of course lots of cuddling! I am looking forward to meeting yours and spending time with them.

❄️With the upcoming storm, we’ll be making a few temporary adjustments to our visits to help keep everyone safe.

We will do our very best to keep visits within their scheduled time slots. However, delays may happen if roads are unsafe, not yet cleared or travel conditions are poor.

Here’s what to expect during severe weather:
• Visits may be delayed due to road and safety conditions
• Please be sure pathways, steps and entrances are cleared and salted so we can safely access your home
• Visits will focus on a potty break and indoor enrichment to keep pets safe and comfortable

For our pet sitting families who are away, we strongly recommend having a local backup or emergency contact available just in case access becomes temporarily impossible.

As always, safety is our priority. Please stay safe and warm out there!

Update: her wonderful walker was able to secure placement for Cleo❤️

🚨Cleo, 6-7 yrs old - euthanizing tonight🚨
My friend has been walking Cleo for over 5 years, I’ve walked Cleo when my friend is on vacation. She is a great girl and takes direction very easily. She enjoys her walks and being challenged with mental simulation, she thrives off of it. It’s suggested that she is an only dog. While walking in the park, I give her space and she does great with passing other dogs.

Her owner had a meet and greet with an unexperienced Rover pet sitter for Cleo. During the meet and greet, the “pet sitter” hovered over Cleo while she was eating and got bit. The owner did not take my recommendations on selecting a pet sitter and now Cleo will have to pay the price. She has a scheduled vet appointment tonight to be euthanized.

🌞 Due to the extreme heat, all walks will be shortened to potty breaks only. We’ll still have focusing on enrichment, not exhaustion! Your pup’s safety is our priority.

It is with devastation to share that my husband, Jay, passed away unexpectedly earlier this week. As an animal lover, caring for your pets brought him so much joy. He loved to care and spend time with them. Thank you to all for your love, support and understanding as my son Aaron and I are navigating this heartbreaking event.
