We are set on country acreage and offer of-leash play areas, secure indoor/outdoor dog runs with heated concrete, even a storm shelter. We offer daycare and overnight boarding. Now servicing the tri-city area, Moore, Mustang, Norman, OKC, and beyond. Dogtopia K-9 Corral, where we treat your dog like a member of our pack.

Midwest City Police Department’s K9 Rocky to get donation of body armor Midwest City Police Department, OK, K9 Rocky will receive a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. K9 Rocky’s vest was sponsored by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. and will be embroidered with the sentiment “This gift of protection provided by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.”. Delivery is expected within ten weeks.

Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., established in 2009, is a 501(c)(3) charity whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies throughout the United States. This potentially lifesaving body armor for four-legged K9 officers is U.S. made, custom fitted, and National Institute of Justice (NIJ) certified. Since its inception, Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. has provided over 6,225 vests valued at $6.9 million to K9s in all 50 states, made possible by both private and corporate donations.

The program is open to U.S. dogs at least 20 months old, actively employed, and certified with law enforcement or related agencies. K9s with expired vests are also eligible to participate. There are an estimated 30,000 law enforcement K9s throughout the United States.

Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. accepts tax-deductible contributions in any amount, while a single donation of $1,050 will sponsor one vest. Each vest has a value of $1800.00, weighs an average of 4-5 lbs., and comes with a five-year warranty. For more information, or to learn about volunteer opportunities, please call (508) 824-6978.

Our Story

Welcome to Ruby’s K9 Corral! We opened in the Spring of 2017 and have seen lots of growth during that time. We are a 5 star dog resort and currently offer dog daycare, overnight boarding and basic grooming services. What sets us apart? We are located on 8 acres and live on the premises. We have indoor/outdoor kennels that measure 20’ x 4’ so your dog can bask inside in the warmth or cool air. They can go outside through a flap to a covered area if they like, and they have it all to themselves. Your pup will get out 3-5 times daily into one of our fenced play yards. If they play well with other dogs this will be a good social situation for them and give them the opportunity to burn off some energy. If your dog is not into that social scene or prefers to take it easy that’s no problem. They can have a secure fenced area all to themselves. We opened our facility as we have had to board our pups in the past and know the anxiety that can effect us as owners leaving them in the hands of a stranger.
