We spent the day buzzing with excitement at the Dumblin Primary career fair!
Our table was filled with tools, honey, posters, and even a real observation hive full of bees — and yes, the queen was in there somewhere!

We had a blast teaching kids (and adults) about the fascinating world of honey bees, their role in pollination, and what it's like to be a beekeeper. From learning how bees make honey to spotting the queen, the curiosity and excitement were contagious.

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and explored the hive. We hope we inspired a few future beekeepers along the way!

A Birthday Among Strawberries

I spent part of my birthday weekend in someone else’s strawberry field—kneeling in the rows, sun on my back, surrounded by family. It wasn’t our land, but the moment reminded me why I love working my own.

The day was hot and full of movement—children laughing, buckets filling, voices rising all around me. I was overstimulated, honestly. But I was also grateful.

Grateful for the people who showed up. Grateful for those who couldn’t. Grateful for time to reflect in the middle of a season that demands so much of us.

I don’t always feel like the things people say I am—encouraging, cultivating, steady. But being in that field, and later being surrounded by the ones I love, reminded me that growth isn’t always about how we feel. Sometimes, it’s about how we continue.

Green Haus Farms isn’t just a project or a business—it’s an extension of how I live, love, and work through this life. I came back to the farm with full hands, a full heart, and a quiet sense of direction.
