Snake River Goldens

Snake River Goldens AKC DNA Registered. Healthy and clear on Genetic Diseases as well as OFA Hip testing. We are small-scale breeders living on farm ground in Southeast Idaho.

We breed only one batch per year and only when our mamas are old enough and mature enough to be good mothers. Our goldens are first and foremost our pets and we love and adore them. They are given the best care and attention and love living out on an acreage where they can run and play. Because our dogs are such exceptional pets, we want to share their love with others. We believe every home deser

ves an amazing dog. We have ensured that our parents are DNA tested and cleared on genetic diseases and have had OFA hip clearances. We want to make sure that the puppies we place will have long and healthy lives.

All of our beautiful goldens have found forever homes and we are over the moon with how awesome their new families are. These puppies are going to have so many fun adventures and have the most wonderful kids and humans in their lives. I can't wait to make deliveries in the coming week; it is always the most rewarding part of raising these pups, but oh so bittersweet to say goodbye.

The puppies have learned to jump out of the whelping box this week! Because they are growing so big and have learned to escape, we have moved them to our big fenced in pen area during the day and then into the crate at night to continue on their crate training. They still love to chase and feed on mom, who is trying to wean them ever since they grew those sharp little puppy teeth. They love to wrestle, play with toys, and snuggle the people. I still have two girls available (Caitlin and Simone) and three boys (Jordan, Mahomie, and Curry). Let me know if you need a golden retriever in your life!

The puppies are getting really active. It's so hard to get these little fur babies to hold still! We introduced them to solid foods this week and they love their puppy gruel! This week was a huge growth week for our little fur babies. They are getting more and more stable on their feet and are starting to wrestle and play with each other, which is so funny to watch. They are also starting to bark and growl, which is so cute. We took them outside and introduced them to grass for the first time today, and they weren't quite sure what to think. In the next week or so, they are going to double their weight again and will be jumping out of the whelping box, begging to go outside. Right now, they still tucker out pretty quickly and enjoyed piling in a heap on the grass and having a big nap together. We gave their first de-worming oral treatment today and got weights to make sure they are still growing. Each puppy gained close to half a pound this week! They are starting to get chunky.

The puppies are 2 weeks old and have doubled their weight this week! They are starting to toddle around and open their eyes. This week was a huge growing week for our little fur babies. They are getting more and more stable on their feet and are starting to wrestle and play with each other which is so funny to watch. They are also starting to bark and growl, which is so cute. We took them outside and introduced them to grass for the first time yesterday and they weren't quite sure what to think. In the next week or so, they are going to double their weight again and will be jumping out of the whelping box begging to go outside. Right now, they still tucker out pretty quickly and enjoy piling in a heap on the grass and having a big nap together. They are all weighing in at a little over 2 lbs and received their first deworming treatment on Sunday! They will be ready for homes mid-October.

These puppies are growing and are getting so fun to play with! They have become stair masters and it is hilarious to watch how proud they are of themselves to figure out the stairs. They also love to wrestle and especially pick on their big sister Sage, who is a full sibling to them, but one year older. Sage is thrilled with her little siblings and has so much patience with them. We still have two little girls (Gabby and Carly) who need to find loving homes. Contact me if you are interested.
