MISSING: Received a call regarding a missing puppy. The White and tan female pup pictured with her two brindle siblings has been missing off Railroad Road in Merrillan for a few hours. If you have seen her, please contact the shelter or call Jeff at 262-883-7681. It is unlike her to run off alone. Thank you!

CHOO CHOO is home. Her owner was very relieved to find her and has added another tag to her collar with his phone number so that she can be identified more easily and left at home. Neil, it was very nice meeting you and Choo Choo.

CHOO CHOO has gone home to face the bath she tried to get out of by pretending to be lost! 🫒

DO YOU KNOW ME? I was found wandering off County G in the pine grove (4-5 miles North of HWY 95) around 1:30pm. I am a Female Golden Retriever and I have no microchip but I am licensed in Jackson County under tag # 0682. I had a fun adventure away from home as I am very smelly and am going to need a few baths.

Unfortunately, the license tag does no good to identify an owner as we do not have access to the license information until the municipal clerk offices are open on Monday.

If you are missing me, please call the animal shelter at 715-284-0251 to discuss redeeming me. Thank you!

🎊🐾 ADOPTED!! 🐾🎊

MEET DOZER!!
Dozer is a 2yr old male-neutered yellow lab/collie mix, housebroken, up to date on all vaccines, kennel trained, friendly to people and most dogs, not good with cats. Best with children over 10yrs old as Dozer lives true to his name and doesn't realize his playful energy can be too much for young children. While the shelter is closed for construction, you can call to set up an appointment to meet DOZER at 715-284-0251.

PHASE 2 of flooring resurfacing started! Cat suites, main room, quarantine, storage and garage all cleared and ready for the crews.

We had a heck of a time removing the three old cat towers from the main room as they would not fit through the doorways. Unfortunately, they were in such poor shape after 30 years of age and use that when trying to disassemble, most of the hardware was rusted tight or mostly corroded. From years of cleaning, the hardware had to be broken loose exposing additional wear to their structure that we were dreading. The final result: a pile of panels that will be rehomed, a frantic search to find and fund new towers, and application of a few bandaids for the staff! Always an adventure here at the Animal Shelter!

STAR is a master of the doggy paddle! Lake Wauzee by far is her favorite spot!
