Pitiful Pups A 501c3 nonprofit organization is dedicated to helping tiny dogs. We specialize in seniors and special needs. We typically do not take in dogs over 8 lbs.

We take shelter dogs, strays, as well as owner surrenders. This page is for tiny breed dog rescues.... bottle babies to senior's aka sugar faces and other dogs that are special needs. Some I foster at my home; others are in other foster homes. All are special and being loved wherever they are. Most of the dogs/pups on this page are rescue dogs that are being fostered or are looking for fosters/ado

pters. We are located in Bixby, Ok and do not have a facility you can come and visit the dogs at. They are all in foster homes. We take in toy breed dogs with the majority of those being Chihuahuas. Our goal is to take each dog from Pitiful to Pampered 1 paw at a time! We encourage everyone to spay and neuter their pets. All of our dogs will be spayed or neutered before going to their new homes.

Junior recently had a dental and now only has a few teeth left, but that doesn't slow him down one bit! He happily enjoys mealtime and spends his days doing what he loves most—gently tootling around the house, checking on his people, and soaking up all the comforts of home.

He's potty pad trained, gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, and has the easygoing personality that makes senior dogs so special. Just look at that sweet little face! Scooter is a precious 16-week-old puppy who has already captured all of our hearts here at rescue. Despite having one eye that's a bit smaller than the other, Scooter doesn't let it slow him down for a single second. In fact, he seems to think he's absolutely perfect—and honestly, we agree! 🥰

This tiny sweetheart is full of puppy love, playful antics, tail wags, and snuggles. He is ready to leave rescue life behind and find a family of his very own—one that will cherish him for the amazing little boy he is.

Gigi is a tiny 5-pound Chihuahua with a huge personality! She loves being close to her people, soaking up attention, going for walks, car rides, and finding the perfect sunny spot. She’s sweet, affectionate, and impossible not to love.

Ella (8 years old, 7 lbs) may be partially blind, but she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. This sweet little girl gets around wonderfully and is learning more confidence every day. She can be very shy at first and needs a patient, gentle person who will give her time to feel safe and comfortable.

Once she trusts you, Ella absolutely loves being held, cuddled, and petted. She has the sweetest soul and just wants to be close to her person. She may be hesitant about being picked up initially, but with kindness and patience, her loving personality shines through beautifully.

Ella is also doing very well with potty training, though she still has an occasional accident here and there. Overall, she’s making great progress and trying so hard.

This special girl is looking for a calm, loving home that will give her the understanding and reassurance she deserves.
