Pitiful Pups A 501c3 nonprofit organization is dedicated to helping tiny dogs. We specialize in seniors and special needs. We typically do not take in dogs over 8 lbs.

We take shelter dogs, strays, as well as owner surrenders. This page is for tiny breed dog rescues.... bottle babies to senior's aka sugar faces and other dogs that are special needs. Some I foster at my home; others are in other foster homes. All are special and being loved wherever they are. Most of the dogs/pups on this page are rescue dogs that are being fostered or are looking for fosters/ado

pters. We are located in Bixby, Ok and do not have a facility you can come and visit the dogs at. They are all in foster homes. We take in toy breed dogs with the majority of those being Chihuahuas. Our goal is to take each dog from Pitiful to Pampered 1 paw at a time! We encourage everyone to spay and neuter their pets. All of our dogs will be spayed or neutered before going to their new homes.

Cute and easy to fall in love with. Rayleigh comes out of his shell a little more every day in his foster home. He loves to play with the female dogs in his home, or a good squeaky toy (and he sounds like a squeaky toy when he’s excited)! And he is a guys guy - enjoys watching a good ball game, or sitting in a lap while his human plays video games. Alert and sweet with just a little bit of spice. Does well on a leash and would like regular walks.

Update on Cookie from foster mom: Cookie is really starting to love being a fur baby. She is house broke and loves to be petted and snuggled. She takes a bit to warm up and ask you for attention, but once she does, she wants to be your shadow pup. She is very quiet, not a barker, and gets along with all dogs and cats. She loves warm blankets and fluffy beds on the couch for naps.

Meet Cookie 🍪🖤—a gorgeous black-and-white short-coat chihuahua with the sweetest, calmest soul. At 6 years old, this little lady lives for quiet moments, cozy naps, and a soft bed to curl up in. She’s the definition of peaceful perfection!

🎅🏼🌲 For Christmas, Rayleigh asked Santa if he could be in his furever home. He is a 6 pound sweet and shy 1 year old boy. He does well with other dogs in his home. Unknown with cats or small children but does fine with people, including Santa. Rayleigh needs someone who will be patient with him as he learns to trust people and maybe come out of his shell. Tigger is the perfect mix of playful and precious. He loves zooming around with other dogs and couldn’t care less about cats. 🐶🐱 Treats? Yes please! He’ll happily take goodies and food right from your hand.

He’s still a shy little guy, but once you pick him up, he melts right into your arms for the sweetest snuggles. You have to be patient with him because he sometimes runs & hides to avoid being picked up!💛

We are a rescue group that takes in dog that weigh under 10 lbs. We take in a lot of seniors, special needs, and bottle babies. We get them the vet care that they need. We take these sweet babies in and get them to where they can trust humans again, and then find them wonderful homes.
