There are horses that pass through your life… and then there are the ones that leave hoofprints on your heart forever.

Six was one of those horses.

He was the last horse carrying the Rafter S brand, a reminder of where we’ve been and all God has walked us through. Every time I saw that brand, it felt like a piece of our story.

We lost him this year, and I still catch myself looking for him.

Some horses can never be replaced. They simply become part of who you are.

Until we meet again, handsome boy.
