Some updated Bilbo pics. He has grown a lot this past year. Been getting some saddle time and is staying on track to be an amazing partner for me. He has been hauled to shows and rodeos and when entered, he has placed 2nd under two judges in Halter classes. (Proud dad moment 🥹🥹) -Charlie

Everyone meet Finn. He is a 13yo Saddlebred gelding. He is the newest boy at Gypsy Hill Farm and Rescue. Without going in to too many details, he definitely needs groceries but is the sweetest guy. He apparently has some show experience as well so I can’t wait to see him bloom and get back to health. If you wanna learn how you can help horses like Finn, send us a PM. 2025 is a year full of opportunities and new adventures for me. One of them being, if we can get enough interest, starting adult focused equine lessons. These do not have to be riding lessons. They can be just about being around horses and how to do that safely, learning how to handle horses on the ground, learning about the equipment needed and the proper way to care for it and use it and of course learning how to put it all together and ride. I know many of my friends do riding lessons for the kiddos but I am wanting to focus on adults. The people who grew up wanting to be around horses but either never having the time, the money or maybe parents who weren’t so keen on the idea. The people who need an avenue to release stress, tension or anxiety. The people who just want to try something new! These lessons are focused on people that are new or newer to horses and right now I’m putting some feelers out to see who may be interested. Please feel free to comment here or shoot me a PM. Hopefully there is enough interest to bring this to realty and we get some great people introduced to the wonderful world or horses.

Thanks to the amazing Miller’s Vet Clinic we now have a fresh gelding in the barn. Bilbo handled this devastating (his words) loss with dignity and grace. I can’t wait to work with my new gelding and see where the trail takes us.

Me and Mazikeen had a great ride today. The guys hauling the giant crane asked us to stick around in case they needed our help moving it. Lmao. Nothing phases this mare but boy does she have an attitude.
