Meet Apollo! ☀️🐾
This orange tabby-flavored snack is serving up sunshine and snuggles wherever he goes! Originally part of our TNR program, Apollo quickly showed us he's not about that feral life—he’s a social butterfly who’s ready for the indoor VIP treatment. ✨

At around 12 months old, Apollo is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully litter box trained. He’s a confident little guy who lives for attention—if you're handing out pets, butt scratches, or treats, he’ll come right down from his favorite lookout spot to claim his share. 😻

Apollo is active, playful, and endlessly entertaining. We think he might vibe with friendly female cats, but we’re not sure how he feels about male cats or dogs just yet. Either way, he’s got main character energy and would love to be your new sidekick.

Ready to bring home some orange cat chaos (and cuddles)? Apollo is waiting!

Join us Saturday, May 31st from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bisbee Dog Park (316 N Washington Ave) for the Exam, Rabies & Microchip Clinic hosted by the Cochise County Humane Society!

🕘 Cat hour is from 9:00–10:00 AM, so bring your feline friends early!
🐾 Limit 2 pets per household, with one handler per pet.

Important reminders:
📦 Cats must be in carriers
🦮 Dogs must be leashed

This is a first-come, first-served event, with priority given to low-income households and veterans in Bisbee.

💉 Services are just $10 per pet, with $5 nail trims available!
🎟️ Don’t miss our free spay/neuter raffle
🎁 And yes—there will be goodie bags for both dogs and cats!

Meet Rune — Your Dapper Gentlewolf! ❄️🐺🎩

Rune is a strikingly handsome Husky gentleman, estimated to be around 6–8 years old. With one icy blue eye and one warm golden brown, his gaze is as mesmerizing as his story. And that coat? It's pure class—his unique markings make it look like he's always dressed for a black-tie event. (He's basically red carpet ready 24/7.)

Rune came to us as a stray, and though we hoped someone would come looking for him, no one did. Now he’s ready to find a forever home where he can finally relax and be loved. Unlike your typical high-energy Husky, Rune is on the mellow side—he enjoys lounging peacefully in his kennel and has shown no destructive behaviors at the shelter. He walks nicely on a leash, seems to be house-trained, and is all-around a very polite houseguest.

Rune appears to get along well with other dogs and might do okay with a cat-savvy kitty friend, too (with proper introductions, of course). He’ll be neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before going home.

Looking for a chill, charming companion with model good looks? Rune might just be your perfect match. 💙

Meet Moochie! 🌿🐾

This gorgeous green-eyed girl is Moochie, a sweet 8–12 month old tabby with stunning stripes and a heart ready to love. Once a street-savvy survivor, Moochie came to us looking for safety after fending off too much unwanted attention from the neighborhood tomcats. She's traded alley life for cozy beds and chin scratches—and we think she’s pretty happy about it.

While Moochie is still settling in and figuring things out, she's already shown us her gentle, affectionate side. She loves attention and will happily soak up all the love you’ve got to give. We think she may enjoy the company of other polite feline friends, but she says a big “no thank you” to dogs.

Moochie will be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped before heading to her forever home. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted sweetheart with a story to tell and love to give, Moochie might just be your girl. 💚
