Start this practice...

Let's all stop talking to our dogs so much. Just be around them. Watch them. Listen to them. Observe them.

How will we ever know them if we don't intentionally do these things?
How will we know WHEN to timely and effectively praise and correct if we're not monitoring the behaviors? And lastly, if we're constantly talking, which alters, stimulates and often interrupts natural behaviors, we really never even get to see the natural behaviors and mannerisms of the dog. It's all stimulated by us and our assumed need to be vocal. In relationships, we must be just as skilled at listening and watching as we are at speaking and addressing.

Ideally, in a RELATionship BOTH parties should be able to RELATE. Lets listen/watch first, then we know HOW to respond.

Don’t talk to them unless you’re actually going to provide meaningful communication. Everyday human conversation is not meaningful conversation to a dog.

🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 Niqo's First Haircut 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

It was Niqo's special day, finally time for a trim;
So I got an urgent call from a lady named Kim.

She was crying and perturbed, noticeably distressed;
Telling me her fur baby was a smelly hot mess!

I ask how long he's been that way... She replied, "Lord it's been months!" I got to her with urgency because she paid me upfront!!!

I headed to see her and her 30lb doodle thinking all would be swell. But when I got there, somebody had lied, y'all this dog was big as h3LL!!!

I told her it's no big deal, her price was bound to change; but it was still an absolutely pleasure to take away this sweet lady's pain!

We started the bath quickly; Niqo fought like champion fighter; I looked at the time and knew this was going to be an all-nighter!

I brushed and I combed with all of my might, with sweat on my brow there wasn't another mat in sight!

I cut and I cut with my clippers running hot, we were finally getting somewhere, y'all I gave it all I got!

As the groom came to an end Kim stood back with a smile, she knew TheCanine RelationshipCoach had saved her child!

The pup was happy and so was Ms Kim, I think we did pretty darn good with Niqo's first trim! THE END
