OUR GROOMER WILL BE IN ON MAY 7th!!
If anyone has birds that need nails, beaks or wings clipped, she will do it then. Coming in at 10am until she is done, maybe noon or a bit later!! If it was our bird, it will be $40, if not $50 each! 🦜🦜

🐾 Meet the Adoptable Pet of the Week from PA Caring For K-9's! 🐾

Magnolia, aka Maggie!

Maggie has been here for eight months, and we don’t understand why. This sweet 5-year-old, approx 43 lbs, spayed female mixed breed came to PA from Georgia, where she was found as a stray. Maggie is a timid girl who is wary of new people, places, and things, but is hoping to find her furever family who wants to show her that the world isn’t such a scary place.

While she’s shy and timid meeting new people once she knows you she wants nothing more than all your love and attention.

Maggie is up to date on her preventatives and vaccines. Maggie is loved by children and is dog and human-friendly. We are unsure of how she feels about kitty friends. Maggie is being fostered in Dillsburg, Pa.

It’s been a really tough few days, but I wanted to keep everyone updated.

Unfortunately, I still can’t access the Soaring Spirits Sanctuary page. After hours and hours of trying to get through the automated systems and AI support just to reach a real person, I still haven’t been able to recover the account. To say I feel defeated right now is an understatement. Overnight, 12,000 followers and a monetized page that we worked so hard to build just disappeared.

So for now, this will be the new Soaring Spirits Sanctuary page — or at least a backup until I’m able to regain access to the original account. Rescue work is already emotionally and physically demanding, and dealing with this on top of it has been incredibly discouraging. But the birds still need us, and we’re not giving up.

In the meantime, I’ll be posting updates, intakes, adoptions, and sanctuary life here just like always. If we’re able to recover the original page, wonderful. If not, this will officially become the new home for Soaring Spirits Sanctuary.
