Thank you to all of the kind souls that donated to us for our relocation. We are close to securing housing in Denver which is awesome! We forgot how much it sucks applying for jobs lol. The first rejection is always hard, then after 100 you are just like mhh :) We know that we will succeed in life because we will always be willing to work hard and more importantly we try to always put good in the world. Thank You so much for all of your donations. This was overwhelming with joy. If you haven't heard, we are moving to the Denver Area. All of your donations will go directly to us rebuilding our lives in a new place. Parts of us are sad to leave because of all of the wonderful people and animals we have known here. We are also excited for this new chapter in our lives. Ironically as life is always an uphill journey for us that we are going to the Mile High City, see what I did there :)

With this latest news that we will not be receiving any insurance coverage, we do not have the energy or fight in us to reopen in a different location. We have had to fight for everything in life and we just don't have any more fight in us for this business. Along with the fact that we have both worked physical service jobs this too must be taken into consideration. It is heartbreaking for us to just have to walk away with basically nothing, and the possibility that our landlord can still sue us for breaking the lease. It is not worth owning our own business anymore. The amount of money that goes to insurances and taxes is confusing and overwhelming. When anything has business attached to it service wise, ie. utilities, internet, it costs you twice as much and you get crappier service most times. We did not come from means and have had to work for everything we have. Growing up I heard that all business owners were rich, they are not. This business has given us wonderful opportunities in life and allowed us to grow in so many ways, especially as people, and we are so incredibly thankful for that and the opportunities in life that its given us.
We have always tried to live life with morals and ethics while hoping for that in others. Even with all of the times we were kicked down, we always tried to do the right thing in life. We are tired of fighting. We worked 7am- 9pm most days and for 90+ days straight the past few years. We are tired and our bodies are broken, helping to lead us to the decision we cannot do this anymore. We got through obstacles of life, Covid made us totally change how we ran our business, we can't fight decay of a building we do not own. We have to completely start over and with the inevitability of struggle, we are choosing to relocate to the Denver Area. We need the Sun as we have had to many cloudy days here. Thank You to all of our wonderful customers, we appreciate the great human experiences that we were able to share with you. We will miss all the wonderful dogs that we have had the opportunity to care for. We will miss you all. We wish everyone the best in any of their pursuits in life. Goodbye and may all of you have a wonderful day full of Joy and Merriment.

Just found out that neglect of the building by the owner, not us, is not valid for insurance coverage. Yay we are screwed :)

We just wanted to say many thanks to everyone who has helped us with donations during this difficult time of all of our lives. Our pets are adjusting well, so we are trying to take their lead as much as we can and go with the everchanging flow of life. We will continue to try and do good in the world no matter what we do with our lives. Looking through the list of names and seeing so many that we haven't seen in a very long time is bringing tears to our eyes and love to our hearts. Thank You again to everyone
