🐾 Meet Our 2026 Admin Team! 🐾
We asked our admin team a few questions so everyone can get to know the people (and dogs!) you'll see around the dock this season.
Marianne & Snickers
Q: Tell us about your dog!
A: My dock diver is Snickers, a 2-year-old cattle dog mix rescued from Freckles and Tom Cat. Snickers absolutely loves dock diving and being in the water. If he's not diving, he's out at the field doing Toss & Fetch or nose work.
Q:What do you love most about dock diving?
A: Dock diving is a perfect mix of chaos, confidence, and pure joy. Watching dogs launch fearlessly into the air and water is endlessly entertaining. It helps build confidence and strengthens the bond between dog and handler.
Q:What advice would you give to someone just getting started?
A: Keep it fun! Confidence matters more than distance. Celebrate every jump, even the tiny ones. Practice a solid wait and retrieve command, and expect lots of barking, zoomies, and wet clothes.
Q:What are you most excited for this season?
A: Meeting fellow dog lovers, watching wild mid-air leaps and splashes, and spending time on the dock with Snickers and my co-handler, Tad. Let's go!
Katelyn & Tramp
Q:Tell us about your dog!
A:My teammate is Tramp, my 7-year-old herding dog mix. I've been doing dog sports for about four years now.
Q:What do you love most about dog sports?A:Dock diving and dog sports in general have been an amazing hobby and a great way to unwind after a long work week.
Q:What advice would you give to newcomers?
A: Never give up on your dog and treat even the worst splashes like the biggest win ever—because they just think they're having the time of their life out there.
Q:What are you most excited for this season?
A: I'm excited for all of the new and old faces that I'm going to get to see at the dock this year.
Kristen, Linkin & Lailah
Q:Tell us about your team!
A: I'm Kristen, dog mom to Linkin and Lailah—my little chaos crew and adventure partners. When I'm not wrangling middle schoolers at work, you'll find me hanging out with my furry best friends. We spend a lot of time training, traveling, trying new sports, and figuring things out together one leap at a time."
"Linkin is my main dock diving partner and the heart dog that got me into this crazy world. He gives everything 110%, whether it's on the dock, in agility, or just being a professional menace at home. Lailah is our sweet sidekick and biggest cheerleader.
Q: What do you love most about dock diving?
A: The confidence it builds in dogs and the bond it creates between you and your teammate. There's nothing like seeing your dog light up doing something they love. Plus, the dock diving community is so supportive and fun.
Q: What advice would you give to someone just starting out?
A: As a newbie ourselves, I'd encourage others to go at their dog's pace and focus on making it fun. Don't compare your journey to anyone else's. Some dogs launch off the dock immediately, while others need time to build confidence—and both are okay. Celebrate every little success.
Q: What are you most excited for this season?
A: Making memories with my dogs, continuing to build Linkin's confidence, meeting more amazing people in the sport, and hopefully hitting some new personal bests. Mostly, I'm excited to keep doing what we love together.
Make sure to flash them a smile when you see them!
