I managed to make it almost 2 years with this gecko before he dropped his tail. He completely flips out anytime I go anywhere near him, so I knew it was likely to happen eventually. On this day, he managed to fly out of his enclosure while I was giving him some crickets. I managed to get my hand over him before he ran under the racks, but he left his tail behind.
