Available 🐾 Millie - 9 Month old Black Female Labrador AKC 💕 Her mom is Tikka (Bailey x Odie pup, Duck & Daphne sister) her dad is DJ (not one of my males)
Both parents come from hunting lines and Tikka has her JH and a ton of other AKC titles. DJ’s dad has his Senior Hunter title.
Millie loves car rides, the lake and all kids! Being around water and children she is in her happy place. She shows a desire to chase wild birds when they land and she is not afraid of the 💥 from the dummy launcher. She will probably be around 70 -75 lbs full grown. She knows basic commands sit, here, her name etc.
I require new owners to have a crate for indoors to sleep in at night, I recommend the black wire ones and a 6’ outdoor kennel or secure fenced yard for the dog to be left unsupervised when you are not home. These are the same things that you need getting a new 8 week old puppy. Dogs need to know boundaries and what is expected of them and have a safe place for them to not get in trouble. Letting any dog just have free run where they can get themselves into trouble/ make bad decisions is just setting them up for failure and teaching them bad habits. After they learn and respect the boundaries and what is required of them, they no longer have to have crates and kennels. She was raised in the house until she was 3 to 3 1/2 months old and since then she has been raised in my indoor outdoor kennel. She has not been around cats, but that means she has not chased any. She has been across the fence from sheep, chickens, and horses, but never been in with them. She has never dug out of a kennel or climbed over. She is a total blank slate with no bad habits, and it is up to her new owners to make sure that it stays that way.
