After many years of teaching dog and puppy obedience I will be retiring from teaching at Riversbend Animal Hospital due to unexpected family health challenges. Therefore, our summer session of class will be our final session together.

I have enjoyed teaching humans and dogs for a long time. There have been so many wonderful experiences and joyful times with my clients and their pets.

When Riversbend Animal Hospital moved to their current location and we started Riversbend Canine Academy it was a dream come true for me. Teaching and learning with puppies and dogs full time, how wonderful! It just does not get better than that.

I would like to thank my clients for each pet they trusted me with, as well as all of the local veterinarians who referred clients to me. Many friendships have come from the years of working with people and dogs and I appreciate all of those connections.

I would also like to thank the administration and staff and Riversbend Animal Hospital. Each of them supported me and helped with this endeavor. I am forever grateful. Blessings, Debbie Szot

Great students having fun on 4th of July Holiday week ❤️

Trinket and Rosie are coming to puppy obedience classes! We have just a few openings this summer for our classes. Tuesday there are openings for adult dogs at 7:15, puppies at 6:00 on July 18th. Thursday has a couple openings for puppies only on July 20th at 6:00. Classes are 1 hour each week for six weeks. Total cost for the six week session is $125.00. Vaccine requirements to attend are rabies, dhlpp, bordatella. Call 231-796-3507 to register.
