A couple notes as we head into a gorgeous summer holiday...
1. We are closed Friday, July 4th - Be sure to stop in and pick up any necessary medications, food, etc. before the weekend.
2. Fireworks can be scary! Make sure your pets are secured and make certain they have appropriate identification. Background music and a safe space can also help alleviate anxiety.
3. Do NOT share your BBQ feasts with your furry friends! Keep your animals away from those tasty dishes and definitely away from the trash cans. Gastrointestinal distress is not a fun way to spend your 4th!

***UPDATE - He is safe at home now! 😁***

Neighbors & Friends: A dog slipped away from his owners in our parking lot. Please be on the lookout for a Rat Terrier, white with brown markings, roughly 25 pounds, not wearing a collar. He is FAST and does not like car rides. He does like other dogs so he may be drawn to a house with dogs in the yard. Last seen near the intersection of 165th Ave and Chippewa Lake Rd, heading southwest. Please call the clinic if there are any sightings 231.796.4499.

We will be closed on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th. If you need to pick up any medication, food, or supplies for the long holiday weekend, please get in touch ASAP. Also, please remember how incredibly stressful this celebratory stretch can be for our furry family members. Make sure they are wearing collars (with identification!) and be sure everyone is mindful of open doors. Consider placing your pets in a safe enclosed area with distracting background noises like a TV or music.
