If the dogs could talk….

Thank you to the Girl Scouts troop 1049 for choosing the dog park as your subject to get that silver award! These young ladies volunteered 70 hours of their time and finished up by building the dog park a Toy Box — it’s a leave a toy, take a toy system now at the dog park!

Thank you to the Biddeford vocational construction team for lending a hand to build.

Thank you to Biddeford parks and rec for the set up and putting this together!

And, Thank you for all that attended. I know it was rainy and cold but the community support is what we’re all about and it’s great to live in a place where people show up to support each other! 🐾🐾👏👏

📣📣CALL FOR SPONSORS📣📣

Did you know the dog park is maintained solely by volunteers and funds from our sponsors?

We are looking for dog loving local businesses who would be interested in helping to sponsor the park! Funds will be utilized for park maintenance and improvement by our volunteers! Our basic sponsorship is just $250 for the year and includes a 6 foot banner that will stay up for an entire calendar year, not just a season. Banners are highly visible to all visitors to Rotary Park, not just the Dog Park. All donations are tax deductible.

📣📣 Volunteers Needed for Tomorrow’s Yard Sale!

Hi friends! Tomorrow (sat 10/4) is our big yard sale fundraiser at:

📍 550 Main St, Biddeford – Rotary Park parking lot by the Dog Park

🕢 Few of us will be there starting at 7:30 AM to unload—come join me if you’re able!

👉 We need help with:
• Setting up tables, signs, and pricing items
• Running the payment table and raffle table
• Greeting visitors, answering questions, and keeping things organized
• Breakdown & clean-up (2:00–3:00ish) including loading leftovers for donation

🕙 Sale runs from 10 AM – 2 PM (early birds welcome). From 1:45–2:30 we’ll be offering discounts on unsold items!

If you can help at any point in the day—even for just an hour—it would mean so much. 💙

Hi all,

Just a friendly reminder that if you’re using the water at the park it needs to be shut off when you leave please!

The water is an awesome addition that the city provides for us but can just as easily be taken away if not taken care of.

Please help us with this small ask — I appreciate you all for all you do!
