I am sharing this with a very heavy heart. 💔

My cousin Pam — who has always been like a sister to me — has recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of her husband. At the same time, she is facing the loss of sight in one of her eyes and helping care for her mother who is battling Alzheimer’s.

With so much on her shoulders, she has had to make another incredibly difficult decision and that is to find loving new homes for her two beautiful Biewer boys, Cash and Rhett. These sweet boys have been deeply loved, and this decision has not been made lightly. The photo shared is from a time when life felt much lighter for her.

I have promised Pam that I will personally help find the very best of homes for them. Our hope is that they might be placed together, but we understand that may not be possible and will consider separate placements if it means the right forever families.

They were born July 25th, 2024 and are currently located in Flat Rock,Michigan. They both are UTD on their shots and are very healthy boys. They also potty outside and on potty pads. They are registered but they will not be going with their papers. They also will have a re-homing fee.
Rhett is 6lb’s 8 ozs and Cash is 6lbs 2ozs. Pams wish is that they go to a home where there are no other dogs and all the love can go to reassure them that they will never have to go to another home again.
I can arrange a trusted courier to transport them to another state if the perfect home is found. I will be the one personally speaking with and screening interested families in order to ease as much stress as possible for Pam and ensure these boys are placed where they will be cherished❤️.

Since making the decision to retire from breeding, and although this is breaking my heart, I am looking to place 3 possibly 4 of my adults Biewers. I have been so overwhelmed with unforeseen family health issues that every time I try to place them something else comes up and takes my time away from finding them the best of homes. I think I can do it and than I back out, it’s a horrible feeling and the guilt I feel is overwhelming. I have finally come to terms with this as hard as it is and know I have to follow through because it has and is affecting my health and stress level now over and above what it’s already been. Since July my husband had a massive heart attack and my father was hit by a car and than I came down with a very bad case of Covid. Now to have to make this choice and place my babies that I have
Loved and cared for since they’ve been babies is just adding to my stress but it’s something I know I have to do. It’s because I love them so that I owe it to them to do this. I want nothing better than to be selfish and keep them but I know they deserve more than I can give them and it’s up to me to find the homes for them that can give them the attention that I can’t now.

I have 2 females ages 5 and 7 . I prefer they go to a home with no other females. I have a darling boy that’s a year and a half old that I had planned on showing and breeding but in a blink of an eye that’s all changed now. I have recently cut them down to a puppy cut because I could no longer keep up with their beautiful coats.
I have moved to Florida and would really like to see them in their new homes before Christmas if at all possible. I’m going to be very picky as to where my babies go and will be interviewing those that are interested very carefully as I have to have a warm fuzzy feeling with those that will be considered and if I don’t they will not leave me until I do. Please refrain from any ugly comments as my heart cannot take much more.

Feeling so happy and Blessed🙌
Our Valentino has found his forever home and he’s going to a wonderful new mommy and daddy in North Carolina. It was so hard letting this pup go!! With his deafness, him and I formed a very strong bond together. Not only was it hard letting him go but after 19 years breeding this breed I so love, knowing he’s the last of my last litter is even harder for me. He is such a smart and loving boy and has picked up the sign language very quickly that I’ve been teaching him. His new daddy Robert flew down to get him and watching him with Valentino you can just see they are going to be best buds. The new mommy couldn’t fly so she’s waiting anxiously like a kid the night before Christmas. Have a wonderful life sweet boy you will always hold a special place in my heart and this is not goodbye. Robert and Melanie have a daughter here in Florida so I will be able to see him again. Safe travels to your new home and know you were very loved and your Grammy loves you dearly and did her best to find you the perfect home❤️

Im looking for a wonderful home for our 16 week old Valentino. A home that can give him the love and attention he deserves. Although we recently found out this baby cannot hear, I do not consider a deaf puppy disabled or their lack of hearing a weakness. In fact, most deaf dogs live very happy and long fulfilling lifes. Some even go on to being therapy dogs and some even work in correctional facilities or bomb squads because their lack of hearing is a strength as they are not anxious from the loud noise like a hearing dog would be. He may lack one of his sence’s but that just makes his other senses stronger. Most families would think they are harder to train when in fact they are very smart and just as easy to train but just learn differently. The very first thing to consider in regards to a deaf puppy is that a deaf pup is a dog first, breed second, and deaf third. The only difference is with training, a hearing dog a person would give the pup a vocal command and with a deaf pup you would give a visual sign. Other than not being able to hear, Valentino is a healthy, very loving, smart, beautiful and gentle baby that just needs someone that has the patience and willing to spend the time with him to get him where he needs to be so that he can be the best dog ever!! I would bet he’ll make someone the perfect baby. Someone who will rise to the challenge and teach him commands by signing. He has the potential to be a really cool little guy in the right hands. Think how he’d be as a therapy dog for kids with disabilities as he learns to overcome his. What an adventure and little blessing in the right hands. He is a very smart boy and is eager to please. I have already started with hand signs with him and he’s picking up pretty fast. He follows me everywhere and is always watching me for approval and loves giving kisses. His ears are taped due to all the probing the vet had to do to check them out which after the fact made one droop so even though he has a very nice small set of ears, I felt it best to tape them to make sure they stand with all he’s been through. He also has an amazing coat, one that you don’t have to comb for a couple weeks and when you do, the brush or comb just glide right through it. If Valentino sounds like a puppy you’d be interested in or may know someone that he would fit perfectly with, please don’t hesitate to message me. He really is an awesome boy 💙

Our hearts are very heavy💔
I’ve been breeding for almost 25 yrs and have never experienced this.
We have come to learn our 15 week old beautiful baby Biewer pup “Valentino” is deaf.
We’re so sad for him but know he will be great with the right person or family. We will be taking him in for testing on Thursday to get a better idea and diagnosis. How do I say goodbye?
This has not been an easy decision, in fact it has been one of the hardest and most heart breaking decisions of my life but one that needed to be made.

I have dedicated most of my adult life breeding and showing dogs. First it was the Yorkshire Terriers and for the past 19 years it has been my privilege to be involved in the breeding, showing and the continued development of the Biewer Terriers.

It is fundamentally who I am and what I have been so very proud of. Since moving to Florida events have occurred that need my undivided attention and realignment of priorities.

Most of you know I almost lost my husband two weeks ago. Fewer of you know that my father was in a car accident recently and hardly anyone knows the physical toll that all the years of dedication to the breeds has taken on me. In my mind, I’m still that star eyed 28 year old but now my body is saying differently.

I have been so busy running to doctor appointments, tests, while also trying to move my father closer to me, that there has been hardly any time for myself let alone for my dogs and they deserve more than what I can give them now. It isn’t fair to me or to them. This is and always will be the hardest part of breeding, showing or even owning dogs. Knowing you are doing what is best for them, not what is best for your personal ego or personal wants.

I want to thank all the amazing families who have given my puppies such wonderful and loving homes over the years .

I also would like to give a special thank you to all the wonderful people who have helped me along my journey, you all know who you are.

Knowing my pups have healed aching hearts, made dreams come true and have brought smiles to so many faces, I cannot begin to tell you how much joy that has brought me.

Because of my dogs, I have met many wonderful friends of which many have become like family to me. I cherish that friendship and I couldn’t have asked for more, you have made what I do all worthwhile!!

I may be stepping down but I am not stepping out, especially for those that are new and want to learn and do right by the breed. I have done my very best to try and help better this breed I so love and am very proud of how far they have come. I will still be an admin on the Biewer Lovers page on Facebook and I will only be a phone call or text away for anyone needing my help.

It’s hard to wrap my head around that this litter I have now, will be my last litter and there will be No more puppy breath. I cry just writing this😢

I also will be placing a few of my adult dogs which is the hardest part of it all. How do I let go of something I love so much? I guess the saying is true, if you love, then that love is knowing when to let go and do what’s best for them. If I try and hold on to them knowing I’m not giving them my best, then I’m just being selfish. I owe it to them and they deserve nothing less from me.
