This girl was brought in for a spay and Stenotic nares surgery, also known as laser rhinoplasty, is a procedure that widens a French bulldog's nostrils to improve breathing. It's recommended for dogs with moderate to severe stenosis, as they're 20 times more likely to develop brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS). 🐽

Procedure: A small wedge is removed from the outer fold of each nostril using a laser or scalpel. 👩‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️

Benefits: Easier breathing, reduced snoring, and improved respiratory function. 🐶 😌 ✅

Recovery: Dogs usually go home the same day and receive a 24-hour pain injection. Monitor breathing for 24–48 hours for coughing, airway noise, or discomfort. ❤️‍🩹

This girl received immediate benefits post surgery. Being able to hear her breathe better is such a relief. Before, talking a simple walk outside would be a struggle. Now, she can truly smell the flowers 🌺 🥰

Many may not realize how involved we are with the wildlife community. Almost on a daily bases we receive wildlife animals that are sick or injured picked up by good samaritans. Our compassionate doctors research what each species needs (possum, owl, crane, armadillo, fawn, tortoises, rabbits and more). If we can save them, we will! 💖🐹🐾🐰🐢

The only creatures not permitted are rabies vectors such as fox, raccoons and bats due to high risk exposure. ☠️

Follow up care is followed by trusted, licensed rehabers. 🥰
