Thank you SO MUCH to the person that sent the goodies from our Chewy wishlist!
I have been super behind on posting, and I apologize, sometimes life just gets in the way… and although I may neglect my social media duties, the dogs are always my top priority and they come before everything.
A quick update on everyone:
Kato is doing so so, his hips are starting to give him trouble with the 3 porch steps, so the ramp Trooper used is coming back out. He’s 13 this year!
Bella is as feisty as ever at 14!
Myah is doing good, although her growth that we had a needle aspiration done on is getting bigger. But as it is just a fatty growth, we won’t be putting her through surgery at 12 years old.
Toffee is going to get shaved again, as soon as the weather is warmer. His coat mats so bad, there’s just no other choice. If only he’d let me touch him (without full sedation!) he could be brushed and wouldn’t have to be put out to be shaved!
Ruby is doing great, she’s the boss of the 3 boys, and they mind her well.
Hudson and Bolt are just as skittish as ever, but they love to play when they’re left alone, and Hudson - who’s the younger of the two- comforts Bolt during the storms we’ve had lately.
Demi and Rumor are doing well, Rumor was the baby of the sanctuary before Charlie came, and she’s 9 now! Her mama Demi is having trouble with her right hip, so she’s taking Cosequin along with Kato & Bella.
O’Lady, who I call Binny now, is doing pretty good. Her ears are still a mess, but I knew that would never be fixable. Her skin has cleared up really well, she has no more bald patches, just some that look a little thin haired. She loves her naps, her snacks & to “talk” a LOT!
Charlie McGriddles is my pure joy! He is very shy with new people, but he is the one that lets me cuddle him and love on him without a fuss.
Sometimes it’s hard having so many that want nothing to do with you, but then you get one that gives you everything, and that makes what the others don’t give, ok.
