Soloman is back with us at no fault of his own!

He is quickly approaching a year in the shelter and is stressed out to the max here!!! We are looking for his true furever home ASAP!

Soloman is a pit mix, approximately 5 years old and still has lots of anxious energy. This big lug will need someone who can productively get his energy out and understand his needs. He is very attentive and aims to please. He can be pully on the leash but when corrected properly, he walks well. He has been around kids before, unsure how he would be with cats, and dogs he has been very selective with so we are recommending he should be the only pet in the home.

Denver is our only dog available for adoption at the moment!! Can we get this sweet guy into his furever home?! Denver is a pit mix, approximately 10 months old. He is very playful and has so much love to give. Because of his young age, he will need continued training. He has done well making doggie friends before but draws the line at sharing a home with them (he wants all the love and attention to himself). He has been around kids before, unsure how he would do with cats.

Jasper is available for adoption! This little guy is approximately 20 pounds, we were told he is a 1 and a half year old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. Jasper will need some work on his manners but will make a great companion! He’s spunky, loving and so much fun. We were told he has lived with cats and other small dogs before, unsure how he would be with kids.

We need someone to adopt or a rescue to pull this guy! He needs out of the shelter!!! Charlie came to us as a stray so we do not know his history but we do know he is going crazy being in the shelter. He is losing weight and starting to hurt himself in the kennels. We are doing what we can for him but he needs out ASAP! Unknown how he would do with cats or kids. He does not react well to the other dogs here, but that could be due to the stress. This little cutie is available for adoption!!! It was a bit tricky to get some good pictures of him, you’ll have to stop in to see just how cute he is! He is approximately 12-16 weeks old. We aren’t entirely sure what breed he is but we’re guessing he’ll be a bigger dog! He is a bundle of fun and love. This fluff ball may be tough for a first time dog owner so previous dog experience is recommended. Call 231-882-9505 for more information or if you are interested. Many of our dogs have either been here for far too long or are super stressed out. PLEASE share to get the word out so we can get them into their furever homes!
