American Advertising Federation Quad Cities Officially Disbands
The American Advertising Federation Quad Cities (AAF QC) Board of Directors held an official Board meeting on November 15, 2011 where a motion was made, seconded and unanimously voted upon to officially dissolve the club.
AAF QC, originally founded in 1983, was a club for all marketers in the greater Quad City area organized to serve marketing and advertising professionals and students in our community with professional programming, networking and educational opportunities.
Due to increased Addy entry fees enforced by the American Advertising Federation’s National office in June of 2010 and technological evolvements allowing members more access to outside educational and programming resources the AAF QC could no longer serve their members needs and keep them continuously engaged.
Former members who wish to participate in an AAF Addy Competition are encouraged to visit www.aafcric.com to find out about American Advertising Federation Cedar Rapids/Iowa City club’s membership structure and Addy Competition schedule. Since the AAF QC is dissolved all former area QC members are able to participate in another club’s competition.
The American Advertising Federation: Cedar Rapids-Iowa City is dedicated to promoting, protecting and advancing the interests of area advertising companies and professionals.
