Meet Kiwi, the bird that started it all. Although she may not have been with us for long, she made a huge impact on our life.

Kiwi was a Green Cheek Conure. She was so smart and had a huge vocabulary. Her favorite thing to say was "What’s Up."

I purchased Kiwi from a small local bird store. Soon after, the owner became a close friend and my mentor in starting my own business.

When it became time for that friend to move, I purchased her boarding and grooming business. From this, Bird Girl Pet Services was born.

Kiwi had a tragic accident and passed away 6 months after starting my business. She may no longer be with us, but she is always in our hearts, and is the inspiration behind BGPS entire mission.

If it wasn’t for her Bird Girl Pet Services may have never been started.

I love you always, Kiwi. I'm thinking of you extra today.
