In 2022, together we donated over 35,000 meals for cats and dogs in our community, over 2,800 blankets to provide comfort, over 23,000 bears to accompany newly adopted pets home from the shelter and over 100,000 treats to reward dogs waiting to find their forever homes. When it comes to dog booties, it's best to ease into things. Here's how we recommend introducing your pup to their new shoes:

1. Put booties on only their front feet
2. Reward with treats and praise
3. Play a game or go on a walk so they associate their new shoes with something fun
4. Repeat with booties on only their back feet
5. Once your dog is comfortable, you can slip booties on all four feet.
