Mary's Pet Squad is expanding and looking for new Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers to join our squad!
We are looking to fill the following roles:
- Dog Walker, Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm. Dog Walkers must be able to perform 3-6 30-minute walks each day.
- Pet Sitter, morning availability, 6am-9am
- Pet Sitter, evening availability, 5pm-10pm

This job comes with great responsibility, and you will be expected to problem solve quickly while on the job and make professional decisions.
We serve the heart of Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and select upper NW D.C. neighborhoods.
Pet sitters will have the opportunity to care for dogs, cats, reptiles, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters and more! Typical duties include walking dogs for between 15-60 minutes through neighborhoods and parks (in sunshine, rain or snow), caring for in-home pets (like cats) for between 30-60 minutes per visit, letting dogs out in fenced backyards, picking up after pets, feeding pets, offering cuddles and playtime to furry friends, administering medications, litter/cage cleanup, bringing in mail/newspaper/packages, plant watering, cleaning pet bowls, taking out trash, securing a client's home, and updating clients after every visit with our mobile app.
This job is perfect for the stay-at-home parent, college student, non-traditional career maker, or retired professional looking for supplemental income. Morning, daytime, and evening work hours are available.
Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers:
MUST love and cherish animals and treat them as well as their own pets. Do not apply if this is not you.
Have pet sitting experience (taking care of pets that do not belong to you)
Can perform dog walks in any kind of weather.
Will drive between client visits with a reliable, personally insured vehicle.
Will use our mobile app on their cell phone to track their schedule, time, and mileage, and communicate with clients as services are completed.
Will be trained in client and pet care, including CPR/First Aid for pets.
Are eligible to work in the US and must pass a federal background check.
Live within our service area and will travel to all our clients in Bethesda, Chevy Chase, NW D.C. and sometimes Silver Spring or Kensington.
Will commit to the position for 1 year or longer.
We are looking for immediate hire. This is an employee position which offers workman's compensation, mileage reimbursement, bonuses for working federal holidays, 100% of client tips, sick leave, and time off.
