The only thing spooky about these two was their before! Rex and Luna are looking dapper and ready to trick or treat with their kiddos. ( Luna wouldn't allow me to dry her face or ears, so they look a little soggy here..)

📢 Grooming Schedule updates.

⚠️ If you would like a December grooming appointment, please book with me ASAP. I will NOT be taking grooms on the following dates so that I can enjoy time with my family to celebrate the holidays and my birthday.
December 23rd - January 1st.

⚠️ Starting on October 31st, I will be opening ONE 5pm or 6pm grooming appointment each evening Monday-Friday due to help accommodate everyone who needs appointments.

⚠️ Schedule changes do not apply to my pet sitting schedule. I do have current availability for holiday pet sitting at this time.

This Handsome man came to see me! He was pretty matted so we had to do some damage control in some areas, but now that we have him on a schedule it'll be much easier. Hos brother comes to see me next month!

I'm still booking October boarding stays, and I just opened my November and December bookings. Get those holiday stays booked early so you can beat the rush!

Also, booking grooming appointments. I groom independently and from home for your pets comfort. I accept 1 groom per evening Monday-Friday and two-three grooms on Saturdays depending on the size of the dogs on my schedule. A la carte toenail trims are also available by appointment. I'm sorry, but at this time, I do not groom cats.

This sweet man is our house guest for the evening. He's already claimed our bed just like all of our other house guest. Porter is here for a trial run for a longer stay due to his anxieties. He has a super cute emotional support ducky.

I wasn't able to get a complete after photos because mom came in, and CoraAnn was too excited to sit still. So, here's a before and a halfway through photo. Mom asked me not to trim her ears, so I didn't, and her mom told me the sweetest story about why her middle name is Ann. CoraAnn was a good girl for most things and gave me lots of kisses after fighting me for other things.

Kota looks as amused with his antics as I am. This pretty but naughty boy wouldn't let me get near him with a forced air dryer and tried bite several times. So, we tried another route, line brushing. It's just as effective but more time-consuming without the dryers help. After his groom, he turned into a loveable giant that just wanted attention and cookies. And in true husky fashion, he groaned and moaned the entire time. 🫠

Did you know that shave downs don't minimize shedding? Instead, it creates teeny tiny little razor like hairs that still get everywhere and hurt like heck when they get into the crease of your elbows. A regularly scheduled bath and blowout ( every 2-3 weeks) will minimize shedding way more than a shave down. A clean coat is a healthy coat.

This farm doodle got a good scrubbing. He also got a sleek short new haircut so that he can run to his hearts content without getting matted. He was genuinely the best boy for the entire groom.

Remus is clearly tired of this.
This handsome senior is 14 years old, and he has some trouble standing, so at the halfway way point, we are giving him a break so that he can rest.

Bailey was such a good boy! At one point, he simply laid down and hung out while I finished his ears and feet. His left foot did seem sensitive, and it was the only foot that he growled at me for when touching it, so I mentioned this to mom. She's going to keep an eye on him for any further signs of pain.
He's so fresh and so clean 🛁

Sweet Gracie came for her first groom with me today! Gracie has a lot of top coat damage from being clipped so I conditioned her coat very well pre bath using pro-gro and then used a little Chris Christensen tame it during blow drying to help her coat lay a little nicer. She wasn't a fan of her feet being done, and I didn't want to stress her out too much her first time with me. So I discussed it with mom, and we both decided it was best to get what I could and work on getting more done as she becomes more comfortable here. By the end of her appointment, she was begging for belly rubs! Overall, Gracie was a good girl!
