Daisy is a gentle, 1-year old Labrador Retriever mix and weighs 46 lb. Daisy makes friends quickly with men and women. She has a sweet, affectionate temperament. Daisy walks confidently on leash and pays close attention to whoever she's with. She wags her tail when seeing people. She comes when called and stays close by. Daisy will bond closely with her new family and would be a great companion for someone who likes the outdoors. She is great with children and likes other dogs. She is not a barker and is housetrained. She does better if not left alone for long hours. We don't know what Daisy thinks of cats but can cat-test her if needed. Daisy is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. Her adoption fee is $400. 🐕 This adorable pup is Cali 🐕 She is 9-weeks-old and weighs 11 lb. We think she is a lab/hound mix and expect she will be about 50-60 lb full grown. Cali is at a foster home, not at our shelter. Her foster says "Cali is very affectionate and eager to please. She is doing well with housetraining. She does not annoy my cat and enjoys playing with my dog. Cali loves to play and also enjoys taking short walks on a leash." Cali is going to make a wonderful family pet! Cali is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for age and healthy. A huge THANK YOU to the Animal Health team at Boehringer Ingelheim for their generous donation of new printers to DAWS! 🖨🐾 Not only did they deliver these much-needed supplies in person, but they also took time to tour our shelter and visit with our pups! Your kindness and support help keep our operations running smoothly—and tails wagging. 💙

🐕 This adorable pup is Annie 🐕 She is 4-months-old and weighs 15 lb. We aren't sure of her breed mix (look at all those spots!) and expect she will be about 30 lb full grown. Annie is at a foster home, not at our shelter. Her foster says "Annie is a sweet, snuggly and very smart little puppy. She's really eager to please and working hard on her housetraining--she's always so happy to sit for a treat after going potty outside. At night, she settles right down and sleeps quietly in her crate. Annie gets along well with my dog and is very tolerant and gentle with my kids. She seems like she genuinely wants to learn and has picked up new commands so quickly--she will 'come' and 'sit' pretty consistently after just a few days. Annie loves to run around the yard and burn off energy but is also pretty good on the leash for a walk. Overall, Annie is just a very sweet, eager little dog who wants to be a part of whatever you're doing-- and how cute are those spots?!" Annie is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy.
