DAWS Animal Welfare Society, Inc a non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our community and beyond. We promote responsible pet guardianship and the humane treatment of animals, and work toward ending animal overpopulation through education and a variety of programs.

No Adoption Fee! 🐈 This handsome boy is Pantera 🐈He is one-year-old and weighs 8.8 lb. Pantera came to DAWS as a very shy kitty, but has made significant progress! He can be picked up and carried now and is becoming more affectionate with our staff and volunteers every day. Pantera will need a calm home and a patient adopter. If you have a big heart for shy cats that need time and love to adjust to new surroundings, you may be just the person Pantera needs to live his best life! Pantera is litterbox trained. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. There is no adoption fee for Pantera. 🐈 This pretty kitten is Sunflower 🐈 She is 9-weeks-old and weighs just under 2 lb. Sunflower has a soft shorthaired striped brown tabby coat. Sunflower is a very social, sweet and affectionate kitten. She loves to play with toys and is both snuggly and active--everything you want in a kitten! Sunflower is microchipped, vaccinated for age and healthy. She is litterbox trained. Her adoption fee is $265 (includes spay surgery). 🐕 This adorable boy is Pepperjack 🐕 He is a 3-year-old terrier mix and weighs 25 lb. Pepperjack has a wonderful personality. He loves everyone and is happy to be part of the action! He takes treats gently and will lay on the mat to eat his snacks or play with his toys calmly. Pepperjack isn't a fan of being alone so someone who is home during the day would be the best fit. We think Pepperjack will be fine with children of all ages. If you are looking for a little buddy to keep you company, Pepperjack may be the dog for you!
